hello. can we ask for the good of the site that the over moderation of the site stops. Its not helping the site at all and it is the main reason your board is quiet. The arsenal fans agree. yes blatent wums ( myself included, though I haven't wummed your board ) delete away, but banter, genuine chatter and such should be left as it is to get the board going again. Just a suggestion to help the site and your board anyway.

The only stuff that has been deleted from this board is the blatant wumming. If you want to slag off Arsenal, feel free to do so on your own board, but don't come whinging to us if you put it up here and then it disappears
You know thats not true as do all of us on here. You delete anything, criticising arsenal is a no go on here. This isnt just a few United fans saying calm it down, your own board members have mentioned it. You yourself made an article of how it was destined to be Arsenals day, I replied, Hello Arsenal fans, Nice thread after we beat you and it was removed? Why? What exactly was wumming about it, I was happy about the win and found the article a little bit premature and commented. If I had come on saying how rubbish and a joke the club were bla bla bla then I would have no complaints but I mean it wouldnt of even been removed on 606 so come on. Calm down a little bit. Your board is dead, your our biggest challenging rivals and theres going to be banter about our clubs. its part of the game. I can delete my own article, that's my prerogative. No need to calm down, we're calm already. Like I said, there's been the usual boring wumming that floods 606 and we don't want our board littered with rubbish, so it will probably get deleted. Other than that, we're up for the banter and if you want to wum us, at least make it interesting and give us a laugh.
like i said, your own fans have noticed this aswell so there something in it. theres a thin line between banter and wumming. And you deleted not your own thread, though you may of done now, but my perfectly fine post. I would say you were a sore loser in the aftermath of the defeat but i dont know. Yes, there's a thin line between Banter and Wumming. When this board was initially set up, it was immediately flooded with Man Utd wums, posting rubbish. So we have been forced to be a bit more vigilant than usual and nip it in the bud before it turns into another wum fest. If you read the thread about moderation, you'll find that we are well up for banter, as long as it's kept in that spirit and isn't simply another boring dig. (You'd be surprised at how many posters think that their comments are funny, when in fact they are simply repeats of the same old tiresome rubbish) If we simply left this board to it's own devices, it would end up looking like a children's playground with tit for tat slanging matches - and that would drive members away. You'll find both Arsenal mods to be pretty chilled, so I'd suggest you get over it and enjoy the board

Agree And again, we're not against wumming. Just the inane repetitive stuff that flooded the board initially. Come May and the end of BBC 606 I think not606 will be inundated with new members, and whilst we want a good board with decent banter and the freedom to post the more controversial stuff, we don't want a repeat of what happened when this board first opened, which was just a mud slinging fest.
