Calm down Kerry and don't forget it was the Russian Mafia you refer to that brought him in and gave him a job in the first place.

TBH KKD, I could've taken the squad he had to the CL final <laugh>. He had a squad full of world class talent that would've walked into any side in the world and were all pretty much at their peak. It was very stupid of Roman to offer Avram a 4-5 year deal when Jose left <yikes>.

To be fair to Avram, he had massive boots to fill, but then you look at what he did with West Ham <laugh>

Roman hasn't helped but he has done more good than harm for this club IMO.

Avram was just as clueless as he proved at Pompey and West Ham.

With the squad West Ham had they should have been midtable pushing top half never mind 20th.

Clarke, JT, Lampard and Drogba managed that squad not him. I remember in extra time vs Spuds it was Clarke doing the team talk whilst Grant stood there doing nothing as per. Something I will never forget or forgive him for.

We could and should have done a clean sweep of all 4 trophies that year and walked out with nothing partly down to his bizarre tactics in the big games.

Going bonkers over the man without whom our club would now be an average, Premier League side isn't very rational.

The word "rational " should never be used in the same sentence as "Abramovich ". It is an oxymoron.

Very grateful for what Roman has done for this club, given us all the things we only dreamed of winning. He just needs to employ people with tactical entity who know who to buy. He's had his fun splurging the dough over the years, time to tighten the purse strings and invest in the future with shrewd money buys and lower wages.

Makes me cringe that we're paying that useless lump we call a striker £175k a week.

I cant see Roman ever appointing a manager who's been and gone. It would be a loss of face--even Jose! Perhaps Hiddink is the only exception as he was never on a contract! Love to see Brendan Rodgers here personally! He is destined for big things!

    Blimey you're a slow one aren't you?

If you're not going to contribute constructively to the topic in hand then don't say anything at all.
