I don't think there was ever any coming back from yesterday's result. Even my missus (who knows nowt about football) said he'd be getting the sack

I sit in front of SSN off my tits on Red Bull for 22 hours a day just waiting for news of someone getting sacked.

I then use my witty remark of someone ' doing one' whether they have resigned or have been sacked.
I am quick and ruthless in my chosen specialism. I cannot be beaten , it is not in my nature.

    It's what I do, it's all I do.

Terry Conner to take charge until a new manager is found. Not much out there to choose from is there. Colin does seam the best of a poor lot. Outside bet..Roy Keane for the rest of the season.

No surprise he's gone after losing 5-1 to their arch-rivals and given their league position.

Exactly same thing we did with Brownie, terrible result/performance but give him till end of the year. They are looking doomed but January transfer now gone and its a very 'McCarthy' team hes built. Stuffed now.

Sad for him - always had a soft spot for old Mick and his professional yorkshireman 'I'm as dour as they come' manner. Still, he's lasted 5 years - more than most in that division so he can't complain (though he might !)

Steve Bruce is trending on Twitter so am assuming he is in the frame for Wolves, McCarthy would probably be a good choice for Leeds given his Yorkshire roots and proven track record in the Championship

McCarthy always seemed to me to be a decent bloke (and a fellow Yorkshireman to boot).
Shame they have sacked him, but they will learn that if your players are sh...e then you will go down whoever is in charge.

    How often has Hammill played?

He's looked sharp whenever I've seen him but don't think he's getting much time on the park?

If that's the case it doesn't make a lot is sense to be honest.
