Yeah, im just going to book a couple Quarter tickets in the hope Brazil or Argentina, or the UK team, are there. Argentina always do well, and I've heard Brazil really want this, as they have never won the Olympic title before, and Argentina have. So, you know, they have to!

The problem is, the Olympic footballing committee would have sorted it so we get the ****test quarter final and Brazil/Argentina will never have go to past Manchester. We will get Libya v Egypt.

yeah it would be pretty doubtful of us getting brazil or the argies, shame like.
A future signing could come from playing in the Olympics at SJP though <ok>

The semis at Wembley is a Joke. Its another reason why the cup has been devalued in recent times.

I mean Man United v Man City at Wembley? Joke.

This is just another step in the decline of our once beloved FA Cup, I'm afraid. I wonder what will be the next crap measure to devalue it even further? Seedings, perhaps?

FA greed and Sky TV greed - a lethal combination.

The FA Cup has already made ESPN which is a ****ing disgrace!

The one tradition they have kept is the final being a Saturday 3pm, won't be long before its 8pm on a Monday night!

I'd be surprised if the hosting rights aren't sold to the highest bidding city...

Live from Doha! It's the FA Cup Final!!

The Semis will be played in the USA or Japan to replace that 39th game idea. Would not surprise me at all. I hate seeing teams like Stoke and Bolton get to Wembley, its horrible, considering we didn't give it any effort at all!

Could have been Stevenage getting to Wembley as far as we were concerned.

Waste of time being in a competition if you're not going to give it a shot.

Totally agree. In fairness to Pardew, he put out a pretty strong team. He put out two strikers who scored 4 goals in the previous game. Barton, Nolan, Williamson, Routledge and Simpson all started that game, and we should have won. But to have I think 1 shot on target against Stevenage was a disgrace and the players had to take full blame for that. It was a long way for us to travel for a game on TV, a chance to have a good cup run and you couldn't have had an easier start.

Coming back over the Tyne Bridge somebody was surrounded by police as he attempted to jump off. That's what a bad result can do for you!
