APL is correct, but to put it in a 'light hearted friendly banter' way..... In league 2 you smelly old fanny!

on bbc606 pride didnt know his left side from his right. he put a rovers team down in their position but kept put the left back and left wing mixed up with right back and right wing and me and chris just wound him up over it. then he used the excuse that it was done as a birds eye view so it would be correct but that wouls still make his left and rights all wrong. you had to be there at the time but me and chris never let him get over it as we knew it winds him up <laugh>

im sure he will deny it though <whistle>

I know that Angelic. I was not mentioning names. My point is that since GJ fell from grace people have pointed a finger at the midfield (especially LJ when he used to get a game) as the reason for us doing badly. I said at the time that it wasn't the midfield that needed fixing it was the defence. Caulker saved us last season, but this year we have NOBODY. Carey can only manage 1 game in 4, Fonts has improved, but that's about it. James has nobody protecting him.
Leeds's first 2 goals plus tge sending off, were all defensive errors. We don't help ourselves.
The back line needs attention right now otherwise L1 looks a real possibility.

Our defence is tripe. Our midfield is tripe. Our attack is tripe.
Why pick on our defence, the ENTIRE team is tripe.

How many goals have you seen City score this season, we are pathetic in the final third.
We need a 'Caulker', a 'Hartley' and a 'Front Runner' - CERTAINLY not Woods. I cannot understand why McInnes has taken so long to get these players in.

If you think sorting our defence is just about the back 4 you need help. DEFENCE starts from the front and involves all 11.

'Leeds's first 2 goals plus tge sending off, were all defensive errors' - WRONG.
The first was the down to our midfield not going with their runner and we had 9 men when the last 2 went in. Why not aim some fire at the idiot Bolassie for his 2 bookings in 5 minutes or the terrible header from Woods who wrongfooted our back 4 for Wilson's sending off. And have a look at Woods contribution for Hull's 3rd goal yesterday - he's an absolute joke. I love Marv but he lost his man for Hull's first.

'The back line needs attention right now' - AGREE.

So does the midfield and attack. The ENTIRE team needs 'attention'.

To be honest I don't see anything in woods that stead has not got.
I thought stead and pitman looked good together until stead was injured.

I am seriously doubting if DM is the man to save our season.
The biggest factor for me was lack of championship experiance, especially when there were more experianced men available.
Again I think we took the cheap option in the appointment.

When ferguson took over Man U he nearly took them down he bought Ralph Milne!!

We are criticising Woods yet he scored 11 goals before he came here!

Some on here say they managed teams, who was that Barcelona? Did you win every game you managed?
Smoe are saying he had no experience in the Championship, only managed a little Scottish team, who took their time to get in the Scottish Premiership. They did that and then they also ruffled the feathers of Celtic and Rangers.
When are we going to wake up and realise there could of been more experienced managers out there, but did they want to one here?
I said when he came we are in the ****. We could still go down but I will give him my backing until after he has had a pre season not a months transfer window. Del has said he is trying to get players but THEY are proving difficult to come here.
I know we all want what is best for City. But we only had one glorious year in this league, and think that we are one of the big boys. **** sake we are possibly the worst supported club in this league. Averaging 13000 a year and being one of the biggest cities. But what lets us down the most is we are by far the most fickle supporters going. Bob Taylor even said so!!

Instead of saying I told you so. Start supporting the man who was brave enough to jump from a club where he was held in high esteem to a sinking ship!

Del has just inherited all of this **** and is trying to bring people in.

I can't believe some of the comments on here questioning him.

If you've got an axe to grind then look no further than Sexstone/Lansdown because between them they are 100% responsible for where we are right now.

Well said Red! Although my contribution on here has been minimal I have consdidered giving it a miss due to all the negativity (and the constant incursion by some pratts from the other "football" team in Bristol)
Dm has had 18 league games to sort out the mess and has managed app 1.3 points per game, which would probably be enough to keep us up.
Yes the board made a mistake taking cheap option with KM and the NM saga was a debacle but I feel DM is doing the best with what he has got and is looking for loans to help us. He has not yet made some of the mistakes of previous managers with signings such as Hunt and Stewart and I'm sure there was praise on here for the likes of Pearson and Foster, Wood needs time I think.
Even if we do go down, which I don't think we will, I will still support him until he has had enough time.
As for fickle fans, yes we are but not as bad as Cardiff City.

I haven't seen any threads calling for Delboy to go. I just see disappointment with current form and lack of results.
