Surely Lambert would get manage of the season - absolutely unbelievably achievement what he had done not only since he arrived but this season in isolation!

Can anyone think of any other candidates who could pip him?

Rodgers, O'Neill, Fergie, Pardew, Adkins, HUghton< Powell are the ones who spring to mind but I reckon Lambert tops all of them still. Just incredible!

(P.s. What did you make of the Suarez- Evra thing yesterday? Not sure if its been discussed on our board yet? Really is bad for the Premier leagues image.)

Hope people focus on the inspirational Holt rather than the likes of Suarez

I'd like to think he would /will be at least shortlisted.

What he and McNally have achieved in such a short time and on such a (comparatively) modest budget beggars belief <ok>

The fact that none of the players ever moan or criticise if rested/subbed, plus the fact that they'd all run through walls or walk over broken glass for him is testament in itself.
Never mind the season ending now, I just want it to go on and on and on.....<ok>

I can't see how anyone else could win manager of the season at the moment, of course it'll probably go to Mancini if City win the league or Ferguson if they don't

Suarez, Evra and Ferdinand are all complete and utter idiots.

Suarez should have just shook Evra's hand and got on with the game. Ferdinand had nothing to do with the incident but refused to shake Suarez's hand. In my opinion Ferdinand was worse than Suarez. Suarez walked past Evra and made no move towards or away from him, but Ferdinand made a point of pulling his hand away from Suarez. Then at the end of the game Evra lost any sympathy he had from neutrals by celebrating in front of Suarez to the point where the ref had to pull him to one side.

However in typical Man Utd loving media fashion all the focus has been on Suarez, but hardly anything had been mention about Ferdinand's refusal or Evra's celebrations.

If Ferdinand had shaken his hand, then Suarez would have got even more flack for snubbing Evra.
Ferdinand 'stuck his nose in' where ti wasn't needed. A kind of, 'you did it to him, I'll do it to you and see if you like it situation'
In my eyes, he is now worse than Suarez, as he had nothing to do with the original incident.
Even Fergie has said that Evra's celebrations were not the wisest thing that he has done.
Will be interesting to see if the FA charge Evra for incitement.

As for manager of the season, it may go to Lambert or not, but it doesn't mean that the big clubs will get it either.
Didn't Woy get it with Fulham?

You're not going to pass your English SATS with grammar/spelling like that.

I got a B in English Language at AS level, thank you very much. haha

What score do you think it will be vs Manu next league game DM?

Really hope we see off Leicester in the cup, not an easy game at all, despite what people think! Reckon that might go to a replay, with us seeing them off at their place...

Sadly I have marked a lot worse than that DM, then been told by senior management that I was being too harsh in my marking <shakesheademoticon>

To be fair, if I was sat in an exam I'd take a lot more care to make sure I didn't make spelling mistakes or grammatical errors.

Are you an exam marker then Maestro? What subject do you mark? Or is it all of them?

Mainly a music teacher, but I do have to mark other subjects as well. Sometime get them passed to me from other schools for moderation, to make sure all the marks are similar.

Ahhh fair enough. Wish I paid more attention at school for music. Lessons consisted of everyone playing the demos on the keyboard and messing about. Didnt do it at GCSE or Alevels though so dont know what sort of thing was done in that.

Started learning the guitar a couple of years back and love it now.

Sorry if it's been done, but:

Whitney Houston died doing what she was best known for - holding a note <ok>
