Who cares how bad Wolves are? Can anybody see where our next win is coming from? Both the teams beneath us have just beaten us. Does anybody look ahead at our games and think "we should win that"?

It is hard. For me Diakite and Cisse coming back are our lifeline. Only wish we had Cisee for Fulham and Everton!

I have got over for 2 games so far, scum and Stoke and we won both. Got my ticket for the Bolton game when Cisse is back, so banking on a win up there!

We got a point from Villa so why not collecting some more unexpected points in the coming weeks ? I want to see PL football at LR next season...

Exactly, our goal difference is now a big plus against the other 4 in our mini league.

Only if the others improve theirs at the same time. We are 10 better than Wigan, 5 better than Bolton and 4 better than Wolves!!

Every little bit helps. As we saw yesterday, one goal lifted us from 18th to 16th.

We haven't been truly stuffed by any team in the top 6 yet. These are the records against top 6 teams.

    BLBURN...P7 W2 D0 L5 F9 A21 P6 D-12
    QPR........P7 W1 D1 L5 F4 A10 P4 D-6
    WOLVES..P8 W0 D2 L6 F6 A18 P2 D-12
    WIGAN....P8 W0 D1 L7 F3 A20 P1 D-17
    BOLTON...P8 W0 D1 L7 F3 A24 P1 D-21

It shows when it comes to goal difference we fair very well against these top teams conceding only 10 goals in 7 games. It's the games against smaller teams that have really crippled us. I still believe we would have beaten Wolves 11v11 and got at least a draw against Norwich which would have given us a bit of a cushion. But could haves don't matter now. The next game DOES. As while we have Fulham at home, BBurn are away to Man City, Wolves are away to Newcastle, Bolton away to Chelsea, and Wigan home to A villa. Much harder games than ours. I personally will be cheering Chelsea on and would expect all R's fans to so even begrudgingly.

We have to care about those below us because at this point the best chance for us staying up is there being 3 worse teams I think Wolves and Wigan definitely worse, Bolton and Blackburn I think have potential to get better with the players they have.
We do need to kick in and start winning though or we will be down regardless based on current form.

MH now has a couple of weeks to work with the team. I saw that they are going away somewhere to do some intense training. This will be vital as MH has had very little time with games coming thick and fast. I really expect to see us much better after this mini break.

Agreed. Should be a chance to really gel the entire squad. Trouble is....nothing replicates games and we're running out of them!!

Of course it matters how Wolves do, unless you're already resigned to the drop and have run out of fight and hope?

    Great piece of 'statto', Gloucester!

We absolutely need the other four teams to get a pasting and should not care who dishes it out to them, be they Chelsea or the Dagenham Girl Pipers.

I would advise caution, however, if we think the Rs have the best chance of victory (home to Fulham) than the other four in their fixtures. I can certainly see Wigan getting something from their game against Villa. Fulham can be dangerous, it's a local derby and our home form is ****tier than an incontinent prunes fanatic who's copped a dodgy whelk whilst attending an Ex-Lax conference in Delhi.

Nothing wrong with the stats as Liverpool aren't in the top 6. Sooperhoop did say the BIG six but I thought the top six would be more relevant.
