The voice of Ireland said the same Toppy. I thought the winner was massively eye catching throughout though and travelled like the winner from a long way out but got a bit worried when the second took an extra length out of the field. I think that but for the mistake at the last we would have had a much closer finish.

A Country Girl here for me- Good bumper form (5th in a listed bumper) and I suspect there was more in the locker than the winning margin suggested last time. Looks to respond well and I think AP will get a good run from her. Think the handicap mark looks more than workable.

RV - The favourite was quite lucky to win the last time they raced each other. Watch the last run again - i think Hisaabaat clattered the last hurdle but would have been a lot closer than the end result. Ut De Sivola clearly didn't run his race today though. That much is for certain.

Yeah I agree with that Quel <ok> he was rather poor today. I do really like the Mullins one that beat Hisaabaat last time - Darroun I think its called. Was just beaten by Shadow Catcher on first start for Mullins - has a real good attitude and obviously the form line is rock solid with Hisaabaat and Shadow Catcher 1-2 today

    Double-up for Honeyball and Green?
Anthony Honeyball and Rachael Green, on the mark with impressive winner Regal Encore in the opener, have good prospects of following-up with Cresswell Crusader, who looks very well in the paddock. Golden Call also looks the part

    Hello lads.

Another terrible hangover and boring old roast chicken for lunch.Poor start to the day.

Cracking action for Ireland today to relieve the tedium.

I must confess to being interested in On The Fringe in the hunter chase, the 4.20.He is imo possibly a good bit better than your average hunter and is with the great Enda Bolger who handled Elegant Lord to win the big hunter races at Aintree and Cheltenham.

OTF won this race last year as a 6-y-o before going off favourite at the festival where he finished fourth after being given a strange waiting ride.He is lightly raced and should be much stronger this year. This is a good race for it's class with Vic Venturi bringing G1 form to the table and will be a tough nut to crack despite being 12.I just believe OTF is open to any amount of improvement and expect him to take this before heading to the festival.

With ground/trip perfect 5/2 rates good value.

    GL all

20s left with ladbrokes but as short as 12s now. Can't see the 20s lasting more than an hour

What was that about Willie's horses running badly?

On reflection Ut De Sivola was flattered LTO by that mistake at the last from Hisaabaat and the Weld runner was a convincing winner today <ok>

I've decided to test my theory about Mullins horses being in patchy form and gone against SLC with Il Fenemeno each-way.
