couldn't care less, would her family care if any of us died? No. I wouldn't wish death on anyone but why does it matter to anyone who's not directly linked with the person in question?
And I I I Will Always love ....... Southampton FC I am afraid that's what to Much drink, drugs and sex do to you Glad I left the drugs alone
There are sooo many drugs that won't kill you, why do so many people feel the need to indulge in the two or three that will? I'm not going to sympathise with a person who has killed herself, but I will say I hope she enjoyed the ride.
There are so many tragic cases in the world of showbiz and indeed sport it only reinforces that pots of money and fame are not good for some people and do not always equal happy life and sadly so many of our young people crave this lifestyle almost to desperation through a media driven world. We used to have a fairly well known actor from the past who lived near us who was a pain in the arse drunk who used to annoy the life out of everybody in our local and when not in the pub could usually be found in a ditch this did not stop him from being arrogant and a embarresment to his family who were very nice it was not easy to feel sorry for him but you had to.
As someone whose passion is really for jazz, I felt that Witney Houston actually had a very, very good voice. Probably the purest in pop music within the last 30 years and in this respect she was probably as good in her field as the likes of Ella Fitzgerald or Dianne Reeves have been in jazz. There was alot of sympathy for Amy Winehouse when she died but I don't feel that , from a musicial perspective, she was in the same league as Houston even though both are too commercial for my tastes. Incidently, did any read the article about Claus Lundekvuam in this month's "When Saturday comes" which was pretty eye-opening and explains how many footballers struggle to cope once their career is over. Amazed to read that Claus was using drugs when he was still playing - as I was saying yesterday, he would almost certainly have been the last person at St. Mary's you would have expected to turn to this form of addiction. Good to see that he is back on the road to recovery.
Was she a Saints supporter? Didn't like her voice, the songs she sung (not to my taste) or her lifestyle. Gone and, as far as I'm concerned, forgotten. Harsh but true
You don't so much chew snus as put it under a lip where you let it sit and "ooze" into your system. Horrid stuff!
BREAKING: Following the death of Whitney Houston, Bobby Brown has now been found dead, he left a note saying "two can play that game"
I'm with you OTB! Felt exactly the same when Amy Winehouse and Michael Jackson died-couldn't care less to be honest. If I stressed about the family and friends of everyone that dies daily across the world, I wouldn't have to time to do anything!
I get so annoyed every time a person like Whitney Houston dies and it was the same with Amy Winehouse. They get worldwide media attention for shoving a load of **** up there noses and drowning their livers in Vodka and yet people are shocked when they die and are all so sympathetic. Our troops out in Afghan get shot to death or blown up doing their country a service who get a 5 second news read out and then are forgotten, while these celebrity drug addicts get the lime light. Makes me want to throw up!
If you are feeling sad about Whitney, this should cheer you up, to know there's a young Taiwanese guy who sings her songs weirdly as well as she does - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UB2Tl0xOqbI
