Hibs v Celtic Celtic v Dunfermline Celtic v Motherwell Aberdeen v Celtic Dundee Utd v Celtic Celtic v Kilmarnock Rangers v Celtic Celtic v St Johnstone Kilmarnock v Celtic A few potential banana skins there. Motherwell we know will try and kick us off the park so a win and an avoidance of any serious injury will be a bonus. Old Broonie's steadied the ship up at the frozen wastelands of the north so that wont be a cakewalk either. That's followed by an away tie to Dundee Utd who are flying just now. Let's hope the split is kind to us and gives us three home games. I expect a few more games like yesterday. Gonna have to grow another whole new set of fingernails between now and the end of May/beginning of June.
I think as long as we get 4 points of the huns, then leagues over. Cant see Celtic, in this form, getting defeated, but can see a few draws.
I agree with Pud, a draw at Ibrox and a win after the split should be enough to secure the title. On current form Rangers can be expected to drop as many points as we will, so it will in all likelyhood boil down to those two games.
Celtic have blown bigger leads in shorter periods but you'd have to be hopeful that a good showing at poundland would seal the deal.
Surely it is 14 SPL games to go. Ibrox may or may not be the b all and the end all. Last season we took 7 pts against the mob to their 4 pts. This year we look more experienced but nothing can be too sure, Celtic fans have mouthed away for the last season or so about far too many players especially too many midfield players, however I dread the thought of an injury to Scot or Joe, if both were out, I just thing we would be in deep deep shoite.
I know i was a little concerned when Wanyama stayed down yesterday, he is one we cant do without, especially with Kayal injured. There is still a long way to go and all to play for. As i said on another thread, with officials like yesterday some games may not go our way.
i expect every game from here on in to be a tough affair. hibs on sat will be tough. fighting for their lives, same with dunfermline. they could have been 2 up on sat before the huns got a lucky goal (comedy defending). Then as said previously mccall and his charges trying to boot us off the park. hopefully we will not have to play after them on too many occasions in the run in...
Rangers are shot to pieces. The league is ours. Do we get automatic entry to the CL next year or do we have to go through qualifiers?
