I got 1/2 about that statement, best get to the payout window Ask yourself what is different from that race compared to the rest of the card.
When they stop shooting themselves in the foot mate...the tag "too good to go down" is ringing in our ears! They are off for a break in the Sun now and hopefully with Diakite joining them they will come back a gelled team. Dont panic..we will upset some good teams on the run in!
Thanks, Stick, feel a bit better already! On paper, ain't much wrong with the squad, but just cannot seem to get the results?
Sorrry Odddy I am happy just pissing myself laughing at Swannys article on Mark Winstanley - is he the couch in disguise ?
Morning all. Reading the comments over the last night The Trainer is Eddievee I imagine. In his defence he certainly knows his stuff about horses and can really fire up some gems as he did regularly on here during the summer. His account was banned so I can only assume The Trainer is his return. Thank God for Leopardstown for us NH fans, a real of a card. For what it's worth I'm sweet on pretty much all of Odddog's selections except for Cash and Go where I think Master Rainbowview is right about Sous les Cieux...The only one I've backed is Last Installment though obviously Lambro looks well suited by todays conditions but Last Installment looks an extremely solid novice chaser to my eye and I expect his jumping to win the day.
Morning all, where's Ron when yoy need him lol anyway away from the bickering. Hooray for ot not snowing in ireland, shame about Exeter but oh well. Posted my selections so not else much to say lol
I think it was Stick who mentioned Fugees as a good site, I agree. But it was a bit slow for mine. I liked the BBC site for the turnover, but I've found this site the most comfortable. Sometimes the **** will fly here, but for the most part, the people here are first rate. Know how to pick a winner too.
Morning All Disappointed at some of the comments earlier - alwasy found this site as good as the old 606 but without the idiots, lets hope it can get back to that. Enjoy Leopardstown Gents (and lasses)
Hi chaps - agree with Grizzly - we don't need animosity on here. Ron advised that he was going to be away from the internet at intervals, but no doubt he would swiftly deal with any unneccesary unpleasantness if he was around. Onwards and hopefully upwards - today I like China Rock (Wooly) and ROTO's selection of Asaid sold to me - I got 12's and I see it is now down to 7's. An absolute outsider that I think could well get at least a place is Warrior One in the 3-10. Currently 40-1 with Skybet, he ran a couple of promising races last season before changing hands. His first run for nearly a year was behind today's favourite Concrete and Clay, and although eventually beaten a long way, he was bang there with 5 furlongs to go, and I'm sure that with that run behind him, he will go a lot closer today. Good luck all
SHADOW CATCHER looks really interesting in the first. I just fancy that the improvement to come might just see off Ut De Sivola.
1.05 Leopardstown - GORGEOUS SIXTY 16/1 E.W I think this filly offers a bit of E.W value at around the 16/1 mark for the opener at Leopardstown. She contested at a fair level on the flat in France and has already displayed a good level of ability over hurdles having finished 2nd in a listed heat at Auteuil before winning a conditions hurdle by 10 lengths at the same track. On her debut for current connections she was sent off 5/4 fav at Gowran Park but could only manage to finish 3rd of 5 runners but she shaped well and is if she would come on for the outing (first run since September). According to Ruby Walsh her work at home has been very impressive and I wouldn't be surprised at all if she was right there at the finish this afternoon.
Stuck my bets up last night but also had a small treble on Ut De Sivola, SLC and Last Instalment. Got 19/1 the treble for a fiver.
