As observed by a newsreader here downunder when the Suarez/Evra handshake was broadcast "are these guys for real". Situation not helped by daft comments from SAF who seems determined not to let the incident be put to bed for good. Bridge/Tery situation was shrugged off and dies away - why not this one?

  2. The way I saw it was Suarez refused to shake Evra's hand and Ferdinand pulled away. Dalglish has since protected him and Fergie has denounced him..

The lads a bag of ****e, not big or cool, just a bag of ****e..

After all, he could be on the end of it himself if he ventures outside football & away from Hispanic comforts?

I'm no fan of SAF, but I applaud his comments. To call his comments daft is, well, daft.

When everyone was banging on about how good Suarez was and wish we had him, i told you all then what a **** he was always in trouble here in the Netherlands, he even jumped on another player and bit him cos he was getting skinned and frustrated, and you all saw what he did at the world cup, the guys an utter ****

Fergie was spot on, it's Dalglish that needs to sort himself out.

He is a right Cnut! I would hate him playing for us. I don't understand how anyone can sing his name. Our club does tend to get rid of trouble makers. If Bramble is found guilty I would like to see us bin him. Suarez is a good footballer but I could not cheer him.

From day one Dodleash has defended Suarez, who had the chance to put this sordid little episode to bed. Had he accepted the hand of friendship from Evra we could of all moved on. However he has done himself and his club a great disservice, these actions only confirm what a lot of people thought before, that Suarez is a racist and that the wee scottish turd is no better. Both should be shown the door at Liverpool.:headbang:

Dalglish - a fantastic player - but an awful manager. He has totally mishandled this situation from day one. Liverpool Football Club - a club with a fine reputation - are being dragged down by this charade. Suarez is an imbecile. Not often I agree with Ferguson but I thought he hit the nail on the head.
If Liverpool are serious they should kick Suarez out and appoint a new manager. Will it happen? I doubt it.

Sir Alex was spot on and i find Dalgleish's comments disturbing in the fact he does not see anything wrong in suarez from the very start he seems to have supported him.
Dalgleish is also as embarrsing to Liverpool as what suarez is.
Don,t get me wrong i do like the scousers and the Mancs.
Its time the handshakes were stoped at every game. Play the game and then shake hands with players you respect.

I could never see the point of lining up and shaking hands before the game...like Mitch says play the game and then shake hands with players you respect

I'm not defending anyone, or having a go at any poster on this thread, but IMO I think SAF should not get involved with anything that has to do from within another club. Pot Kettle comes to mind. Think SAF should let Liverpool deal with their own player.

    Suarez has apologised for yesterday.

Do you think if he had shaken Evra's hand then Evra would have celebrated like he did?

Anyway, hope its the end of the matter, needs a line drawing under it.

I think there is too much history between the two sides for it to blow over quickly. Though I agree it should be
forgot about now, but SAF seems to like to drag it on.

So Suarez apologised where's Dalglish'? He's not only made the situation worse but tried to blame evra yesterday. He and Suarez should both go after yesterday, absolute disgrace.

Whether or not we agree with the pre - match handshake, should not come into a discussion, where a lying diving cheating little racist has used it to confirm he is a lying diving cheating little racist.

Fergie has every right to voice his opinion on the matter when asked, it was his player that was racially abused.
How would it seem to his other black players if he hadn't said something.
Fergie said Evra was wrong to celebrate near Suarez.
If I had been Evra I would have been in the little ****s face at full time laughing at him.
Dalglish yesterday was a disgrace to LFC, even more so now, that it has come to light, that it had been agreed that Suarez would shake hands.
Liverpools statement that "Suarez misled us!" says it all he lied to Liverpool, is Dalglish going to say he wasn't involved in that agreement?
Suarez has "apologised!" but again not to Evra. Just to Liverpool.
Dalglish has sort of apologised for his rant on SS, probably because he realises what a twat he came across as.
