Just thought it was about time that the mods on our board got some credit for the great work they have done! I have been very impressed with these boards since joining and I hope it will stay the same for a long time. Everyone is positive, and everyone is enjoying themselves. So from me and on behalf of everyone else on here, THANK YOU!! This is much better than 606 and feels so much more relaxed and friendly! THANKS GUYS!
Mods have set us a nice warm and friendly site but without the posters working from the same song sheet it would soon slip into the old routine. So thanks mods and all that post on here.

Well guys and Gals A very big thank you. kingsland is out at the moment down the park with his toddler. No doubt he will have some thing to say in reply later this afternoon. What FC4Bag....... says is right. It is not us the moderators that have made this site a good one it is you the posters that have. All we are here for, is to whisper in your ear perhaps, to let you know that things are becoming a bit hot shall we say and to your credit you have all responded in a positive way. We do not like to have to do anything at all. Although there should be no doubt that if action is necessary it will be taken. Both Kingsland and I are of the opinion that the most likely action that we will have to take is not going to be against "our own". It is more likely to be against people who for what ever reason do not want our board to run smoothly. In that case we can all help to stop this. You buy informing us so we can take any necessary action, then going to your ignore list so they can no longer annoy you. Just remember folks we have to investigate things and treat every one the same. We have to make a judgement based on the guidelines handed down to us. Action to be taken not necessarily on our own feeling or desires. The reality of it is you have just as much say in some ways as us. The only difference is the action we can take to over come a problem. I think Beddy, Kingsland and Meowth will agree that just about any [shall we say] disagreement that may fall upon Pompey's or Saints' boards is going to be//has been Pompey v Saints in origin. Both Pompey and Saints fans on here can rest assured that we will always put the good and integrity of the forum before club loyalty if called upon by a fan of either side. The rarity of such occasions is, in itself, testament to the great crowd of poster we currently have frequenting both boards. I guarantee you wont be subject to the over-zealous approach often taken by mods on 606. At the end of the day, we, as much as the next person, are just ordinary people posting on an open forum and will do our best to help to ensure that it is run to the expectations and enjoyment of the majority.
Forgive me, Devon and Meowth I was just about to update and edit my post to include you guys in it. Guys and Gals I was just about to add just before our illustrious friend posted about the cooperation.....between the boards of Both Pompey and Saints. This cooperation is largely behind the scenes where to a point most of the moderation actually goes on. It is true that on this site we have a lot more tools individually to deal with annoying personalities that like to stir things up and not just Pompey ones either. As the site gets busier we the mods are likely to get busier as well. Although to be fair the more that pop over to check our site out, are impressed by how it is run, the less in my view will want to try and ruin it when it is their permanent site. Most of you will agree that there has been some good humoured retorts between both sets of fans. There has been some of the more usual boring retorts as well that we are all getting fed up with, in general though me thinks we all are as bored with them in each camp. We have had one or two of the other boards fans over as well but not too many. That may change later. Any way I cannot stress the strong link in moderation terms between the two set of moderators to help this site stay as comfortable as we can...and I might add the others as well.....all though at this point in time they/we are not so involved. Just an additional thought is all.........
Agree with this post. Was about to say myself how much I enjoy this site. Love banter and humour but when it just descends into tit (moderated word?) for tat name-calling it gets boring. As a non-techie, I can't imagine how much work goes into the development of this site..well done. Have you noticed how many more people peruse the Championship and Prem boards compared with League 1..another reason to get out of this league (please football-gods).
Cheers guys. Thanks for coming out. I think we can let a lot more slide on here than the BBC did on is606. Eg; over on the thread discussing what picture we can have as a Pompey board background, someone (who I won't name!) has put up two of those pictures that you see in car windows, a Saints man weeing on a Pompey shirt and one extolling the virtues of Persil washing powder. That wouldn't have lasted 2 minutes on is606! But I see it as only a bit of fun, and if people really don't like it, they can ignore the fella completely. Quick as a wink.

I agree 100% with the comments on here. the many pompey posters on here, and the many saints fans, and BPL234 seem to be taking a very responsible attitude which is clearly making kingslands and beddytares job easier - long may it continue, We stand as an example to the banking world that self regulation can work, well where there is not million pound bonuses at stake anyway!!
I'm sure Kingsland and I will take a fraction of the ã1 million pound bonuses if it were offered olddellboy.......... Say 1% we would be quite cheap at that rate, I think quite reasonable I would say. ...

Echo (should be modded word!) all that has gone before. I love this site and haven't bothered with 606 for weeks. By and large, the two sets of fans have been great and proved that rivalry doesn't have to be disrespectful. (actually, I hope Colin gets around to reading this). The Mods are doing this as volunteers, just for the love of the site, and I really appreciate a more grown up forum that "not" offers.

Good win at the weekend Saints! It will be nice for you if you continue with this form and maybe join the bigger clubs like us and Brighton, in the Championship next season!
Now how did I guess you would not miss an opportunity..........You are of course right there are one or to big clubs in the Championship.....but as we all know that wouldn't of course include our illustrious neighbors down the M27 as you just cannot categorize them as a big club could you. Still they are entitled to their dreams the same as us. It's just that ours are so much bigger and better don't you think?
I was of course merely congratulating you Saints on your win at the weekend and a possible return to the Championship, rather than playing the small fry in League One. I imagine it is amongst most of your ambitions, to hope to play bigger and better clubs like Pompey!
