apl, welcome back that gap is getting smaller again. i trust mcinnes to bring the bristol derbies back. remember who won the last derby?? remember who have won more derbies since your existance 1982?? were coming to get ya
Can't wait for the honeymoon period ends for the gas, then it will be I ain't going to the mem till he goes bollocks again. Angelic I know you are concerned but I don't think that Forest are going to get out of it, their only hope is if we can't get it right. What I can't get my head round is why don't we have players who play like they do against ****hampton and West Ham then do **** all against ****e teams! Chris Woods came to us with 11 goals this season so far and forgets how to score! At the moment I would start chucking the Kids in, bring back Riberio play him central. Bobby Reid in the centre. Marlon Jackson. These kids are going to at least try
They all appear when they achieve a few wins at the 4th level, this is the ' Barcelona of the 4th tier',5 or 6 managers in13 months,a chairman who in his 14 day report is pleading with all of the few to remember to write in and get the councils favour, appoint Mcgoo as a manager who has failed more times than a bad heart and we are supposed to fall for this blue crap.. Welcome back Pride, you are one of the genuine ones, unlike some of your known buddies...
Still in league 4 ( or whatever it's called) Must be great you don't have to scroll up to far down to go on the championship board
That was why I put it in there! It's a bit like CJS going on all the time about since 82 you lot have won more derbies, but that is also at the moment!!
McInnes has already stated that he's only going to look towards the next coming game each time, and hopefully we'll land a couple of wins over the next couple of weeks in order to keep us afloat in this league. I did worry about getting McInnes in as outside of the top two the Scottish Premier League is weaker than the Championship, and perhaps he's starting to realise just how strong it is with his current squad. That being said, we've still got the opportunity to get some loan signings in and it would be nice if McInnes could fill the holes with loanees. Ideally he'll pick at least one winner and we'll land enough points to keep us afloat. However, even if we do stay up the squad is in need of a COMPLETE overhaul. Outside of the obvious players I don't think we have a single player that would get into a top six Championship team. I would hope that McInnes is frank about our chances with the Chairman and how he'll need to overhaul the entire squad to keep us competitive. Looking at our current squad we're favourites for relegation, but I have faith in McInnes' ability to land us enough points to keep us in the Championship.
For anyone who doesn't believe we are in serious trouble take a look our remaining games - it's frightening.... Portsmouth being docked enough points to effectively relegate them would help as would Forest continuing to throw away points but we are masters of our own destiny. Points predictions based on the way we are playing at present Home Palace - 1 point (if we're lucky!) Blackpool - 0 points Leicester - 1 point Cardiff - 0 points Watford - 3 points Derby - 1 point Coventry - 3 points West Ham - 0 points Barnsley - 3 points Away Peterboro - 0 points Ipswich - 0 points Portsmouth - 0 points Middlesbrough - 0 points Forest - 0 points Birmingham - 0 points Burnley - 0 points 12 points from the remaining games means a total of just 42 at the end of the season and that probably mean relegation
Last 3 seasons the final relegation spot has been 42-47-46 points respectively. We are amillion miles away from that situation right now and I don't know how we can acheive that number of points. Angelic you have given us 3 points against Watford, Coventry and Barnsley and although I love your optimism our record against lower teams is worse than ever. Oh well I suppose we must keep dreaming.
Mike - I gave us those 3 wins out of pure hope rather than expectation and even the games against Palace, Derby and Leicester are very hopeful draws............ I can't see where many other wins will come from the way we're playing at the moment, but then again I didn't expect us to beat Southampton twice....
I guess we could hope for a 0-0 draw somewhere on the road, as we appear to have forgotten how to score a goal anywhere
Welcome back Pride, you are one of the genuine ones, unlike some of your known buddies... --------- Thanks Wiz For what its worth, I think the 3 teams in the relegation zone will still be there at the end of the season My apologise CJS I did put an 's' at the end but for some reason its gone missing....
