Morning all from a bright & sunny bandit country...boiler condensate pipe froze again in the night, but I know the trick in fixing now, so it was soon up & running. When I worked in bandit central we used to play squash or go for lunch at the Corals Squash Club. I was a very average squash player and had a more of a run about like a lunatic style!! Until one day I played a young lady who decided to play in a rather short tennis skirt (yes and a tennis shirt as well), for some reason I did not run around quite so much that day!! Looking forward to a good listen on 3CR this afternoon - COYH
I see Suarez has courted more FA disciplinary action by snubbing Evra's hand - wonder what the charge will be this time - is there such a thing as racist refusal? Not to mention, how long will the suspension be!
It will be interesting to see what the FA do. I think they should only impose the same sanction as was imposed upon Wayne Bridge/John Terry.

Cheers Dan - need it after this afternoon and as a starter for tonight, we are out for dinner with some friends... Heard them read out your text on 3CR Dan..I suppose one of the reasons we sit back is we cannot retain position. We give the ball away too easily up front and when we play big Chris as a target man, there will always be that risk as well. Later everyone, I'm going to enjoy my wine whilst I make myself beautiful...
I assume that the is not freezing cold. Who is responsible for keeping the fire in these days, it looks as if it could do with another log or two?
I'll play pyro. The GF's dad calls me that as i am the one who always kept their real fire going all day. It was good fun. Im glad someone heard it, I get really excited to hear mine lol. Stupidly so. I guess that would make sense. Its a shame we cannot keep the ball. We need to look before we pass the ball and make sure the player is where you intend him to be.
Makes sense Dan.... Even 'onest 'array cannot make a silk purse from that pile of pigs ears - very average, just like the corresponding Cricket & Rugby teams... Looks like the Surez debacle will continue to rumble on, ol' red-nose has stuck his big gob into the mix again...you can bet your last penny that King Kenny will respond - a bit of a troll is ol' red-nose. That's it, the taxi is here is whisk us off...later fellow 'orns
Need this! The dog was frozen when we got home from the walk today. The stupid thing (that doesn't like swimming) went in the river as its so low and when we got home we realised she needed defrosting before we could dry her! And the cold weather broke my window last night. Not sure about the BBC filler for the rugby... Country music... watched until Dolly Parton but couldn't stand much after that! Suarez clearly hasn't learnt anything from his match ban. There was no need to start it all up again.
What a fiasco. The match between France and Ireland called off 10 mins before kick off. 80,000 in the Stade de France and no indication that the game was in doubt. For a modern stadium to not have under-soil heating is just plain stupid. The fans that have travelled from Ireland or the south of France will be seriously out of pocket. As I have been saying all week the temperatures throughout the country have been seriously low and it would not have taken a genius to realise that there could be a problem starting at 9.00pm. Yes it was done for the TV companies again, but if they had said that because of the cold the game needed to start in the afternoon, and published that mid-week then the chaos created tonight could have been avoided.
Here you go Betty, this should keep the fire burning a while longer. I hope the window gets fixed soon. We are currently watching the Lottery, but i was gutted to see the Rugger was off. I always enjoy watching the Irish play and singing along to Ireland's Call, its a good anthem. I often think for patriotism i would love to be Irish or Scottish.
For those who have not seen it the latest crossbar challenge from London Colney.
well, this has been a long day, and a good one. Yorkie, it was great to meet you too! ...and yes, we were very lucky today, our performance was pretty bad..and not pretty, and it's hard to find many positives...except that i got to meet you ...
