Evra was abused by Suarez, he didn't even receive any apology from Suarez and yet he still offer's to shake Suarez's hand.. Suarez is a disgrace and his actions are a disgrace to football.

I know some people might say " what about Ferdinand", Ferdinand done the right thing to blank Suarez too, he was furious when he saw Suarez snub Evra as you can see by his face expressions.

Today is Evra's day.. Man Utd 2-1 Liverpool...Team Evraa

His actions at the final whistle clearly showed he is not a true professional. A true professional would have risen above the whole thing and just ignored Suarez, not chased after him like a nine year old.

Yes, Evra has been the wronged party in all of this, but he has not behaved particularly professionally imo.

It just shows the plain ignorance of Suarez. He was proved by the FA to be a racist, and refusing to shake Evra's hand is an extension of his racism, and a deliberate snub to the FA.

In my opinion, he should be charged with bringing the game into disrepute, and another ban

Evra couldn't control his emotions, Suarez had an option to ending this saga by shaking hands, Evra was professional and offered to end the saga, thats why he was furious when Suarez snubbed him

Well done Rio, f*** off was very appropriate under the conditions, and not even bordering on racism!

A true professional wouldn't have run around celebrating next to Suarez at the final whistle. I agree Suarez' behaviour has been worse, but Evra has not been blameless either. Hell, he practically took Rio out in the first minute trying to kick Suarez - not the actions of a true professional imo.

A true professional. only cares about money.

please, let's not allow morals and decency to sully the name of true professionalism

Both as bad as each other, Did Suarez intend to make racist comments, did Evra make false allegations? We will never know. If it is the cast that suarez has been set up, then good on him for not shaking his hand.

Suarez, Evra and Rio have done themselves no favours with any decent fans. I despair about the whole overpaid, overhyped lot of 'em. It's incidents like this that make me think about giving up watching football.

End of the day Suarez racially abused Evra, and even admitted to doing it. Despite being racially abused Evra was man enough to shake Suarez's hand, and Suarez blanked him. That just shows Suarez has no remorse for the racist comments he made.

So I dont blame Evra for rubbing it in his face a little at the end. Suarez is an out an out racist and should be banned from ever playing in England again:biggrin:

Just when this saga could have been put behind by both clubs, Suarez then refuses to shake Evra's hand. Not seen the match highlights yet, but heard that Ferdinand refused to shake Suarez hand so very petty for Ferdinand to do this, as he could have shown Suarez how to be the bigger man and act in a professional way.

I think Ferdinand was just showing loyalty to his team mate, I'm suprised the rest of the team shook his hand:biggrin:

set up? waht planet have you been on m8? he admitted to using those words in court repeatedly and the law enforced his ban. He cant have spent much of the ban actually thinking can he?

Probably the case but Ferdinand should have been the man and shook his hand like a true professional.

As Jamie Redknapp said dont shake hands with someone you dont like and after seeing Suarez reject Evra handshake he lost all respect for Suarez so fair play Rio!

They both acted like children, but I guess the same can be said for a lot of footballers these days.
