It depends whether Dalglish 'encouraged' him to shake Evra's hand or told him to do so. As I've said previously you can't force people to shake hands (as Evra found out). If it was an explicit instruction from Kenny and Suarez ignored it then he'll be disciplined by the club; if it wasn't, he wont.
chelsea are in an awful state. if their plan is to beat/draw with the big teams and lose to the smaller ones, theyll be closer to relegation than europe.
We are not looking for a reason to sell him, just need a little time to let this bs blow over. He is one of our best players, we need to build around him, not flog him.
Would you shake hands with someone you didn't like? I ****ing wouldn't - so what's all the fuss about?
you would if your manager specifically asked you to, and you said you would. also if you had any ****ing sense and didnt want to fire up the opposition even further.
It wasn't an order by the manager you twat - it was a suggestion, there is a difference. All this fake fickle football ****, I don't buy it, it's simple - I don't like someone I don't shake their hand.
i didnt say it was an order, i said kenny specifically asked him to shake his hand. if suarez said i wont do it, fine, end of. but suarez lied to kenny, which only made it worse. he made kenny out to look like a liar. in the post match comments, kenny was then clutching straws, saying "we only have your word for that" when the reporter told him suarez wouldnt shake evras hand. there wouldve been no need for any of this if suarez had simply made it clear to kenny what he was doing and why. dont call me a twat you child, have a bit of class.
So you personally heard the conversation between Kenny and Suarez? No you didn't so you're just regurgitating media bullshit.
The biggest game in English football that was an accident waiting to happen with all the baggage surrounding it and the FA in their wisdom deemed the pre-game handshakes were going to happen. Pity the Evra/Suarez situation was'nt seen as important as Terry/Ferdiand.
It would be very funny if all footballers followed this logic - the pre match handshake would be like Russian roulette! "I like him, don't like him, he's ok, he's a ****, he's a nice bloke...wait, he didn't shake my hand! I thought he liked me " It would be like some bizarre version of speed dating!
kenny has been quoted in almost all publications as saying he talked to suarez about it and suarez said he'd shake his hand. if you werent born with a siege mentality you might accept the fact that not everyone at liverpool is blameless, just like not everyone in the media is trying to stitch liverpool up.
