I'd be disappointed if we don't get a few more. The Toon have a stark choice - close ranks, park the bus, and try to come away with nothing more than a bloody nose; or push forward in numbers to try to get a win, and expose huge holes at the back for our sprinters to run into. I think Pardew will choose the latter, and when he does, we could easily get another 2 or 3 goals. Incidentally, I predicted this would happen, on the Toon's own match-day thread.

Yeah, it's all flicks, tricks and showmanship at the moment. I think we're happy with 4-0, which is understandable. Villa were happy to lose 2-0!
King rested for Nelsen. Made a couple of excellent clearing headers in the first half, but didn't have that much to do, otherwise.
Told you guys our high line would get absolutely battered against your pacey side. Awful. But fair play to Spurs you've played excellently. Doubt we could have got anything even if we played our absolute best. Just been truely and fairly beaten.
