its a shame we never managed to hang on and claim a point after going infront but the writing was on the wall that Henry in his last premier league game would grab a goal, I said it to my brother (an arsenal fan) after Ramsey put them level.

We played tactically well but you could see the players were looking tired by the end of the game and the extra time the other night has certainly taken it out of them.

Its no disgrace at all losing to Arsenal but we will be back next week and hope we get the win and progress to the next round of the FA Cup, after today I would make 1 or two changes and go for it from the off, different to how we set up today but who knows.

Catts in for Larsson with Campbell upfront not on the right for me

Very hard to take. Thought we deserved something out of that game. Probably had the better chances. Don't remember mignolet having a save to make

Unlucky !, we have started playing the Bruce way again, hoofing the ball anywhere, Turner should be out and Wayne bridge in, threw that game away, so it was all a false dawn, money needs spending on striker in the summer, and get Gordon inn, and where was the runs down the wing?. Very dissapointing and lets hope we win nxet week or the season is finished.

    talk about an over reaction!

Arsenal winning was unfair; 1-1 would have been a good result for both sides.

Well we'll see what happens next week as Arsenal have a midweek game against AC Milan.....they may be a little tired from that trip just like our lads today from the midweek game and overtime against the Boro.....what goes around comes around so they say!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone is slagging Ricco - Yet the cross for their second goal came from the left (our right) - Where Phil Bardsley (who I thought had an excellent game) was playing - - they got very little from our defence today - Turner was excellent and had RVP in his pocket! Never have I seen RVP so ineffective as he was today Just apity we couldn't hold out

I'm in the North stand but my mate (South Stander) text me and said keeper should have been better and clain=med it better???

I thought Ricco and Turner both played well today, both Arsenals goals were good finishes, we were unlucky. I don't think anyone is to blame, we can't win em all. Arsenal are a top side and played well enough to deserve a point if not all 3 and we played 120 mins on Wednesday. Lets get behind the lads because they need us now more than ever.

And I agree with vegas. We can't win them all and if we are going to lose a game I would rather it was to Arsenal. Henry scoring possibly his last ever goal in the premier league in stoppage time was a fitting end to his Arsenal career too.

Also history tells us that when teams play the same team in the cup and the league in successive weeks then they each win one. (I don't actually know if this is true but i do remember us beating Norwich before the milk cup final so I have the evidence of one example to back up my argument!)
