And did you forget the LUCKY goal you scored? Our player falling over and injuring himself because of your sh!t pitch, and your asking me if I think we deserved to win? You didn't even deserve to score, and you only made one chance in the entire game, and we came down from 1-0 to win it 2-1 away from home, and your asking if I think we deserved it? HA.

Draw would have been fair, but if anyone deserved it, it was probably Arsenal.

Bit of a kick in the nuts losing it so late, but we were always gonna labour a little after 120mins on Weds.

One things for sure, we can beat them next week, and as I stated, on this thread, days ago, i'd take a defeat today to stay in the cup.

The referee was ****e, but that's not Arsenals fault, i've never seen so many handballs in a game (none awarded as free kicks).

If we had to lose, i'm happy for Thierry to have scored it in his last game before he's off back to the USA, a player who has given me many hours of joy watching over the years, as a football fan.

There's some graciousness in defeat for you, eh!

This is BULLshit Szelzney made FOUR saves in a 6 minute spell.

Are you actually blind, or just a ****ing idiot?

EDIT** Just checked the stats, as was going from memory, we had 15 SHOTS ON GOAL, 8 ON TARGET.

Always one, after the Arsenal lads have been smashing all week.

Agree with all of that, a win next week is what I want. Realisticly were not going to finish in the top 6 and were not going to go down so the Cup is our season now and success in it for me would be reaching a final. To do that we need to win on Saturday.

I thought Sunderland played very well. MON seems to be an extremely good motivator. I do think, however, that we just about deserved the win.

Considering we were playing against 10 Joey Bartons and the phantom of the opera on a ploughed field, I think we did well to take 3 points.

The stats state we had FIFTEEN shots, 8 ON TARGET.

    FACTS mate FACTS.

Arsenal lads have been top class all week, then you turn up, only AFTER the win.

Says it all you ****ing bellend.

    Tbh...S'land are quality under MON
I thought overall we deserved it and I was disappointed they parked the bus for about 50 mntes
They were dangerous going foward and it was a good game
It'll be a tough FA Cup game and I expect S'Land to be playing Europa football next season

I understand what you say, but it's not 'parking the bus', it's the way he plays, sit deep, then break out.

It's not the prettiest, but it's been supremely effective.

Results are what we needed, we aren't defensive, we just wait for space.

I'm sure we'll press on more when we have a couple more additions, quality wise. <ok>

Arsenal87, just **** off. You only came on here when Arsenal were losing, so piss off.

Sunderland guys, unlucky. You've been doing very well recently though! Thought you deserved a point, but you know, Henry tends to do these things <laugh>

I think the FA Cup game will go to a replay, but we should win it at the emirates, hopefully <ok>

I'm going to the SOL though - looking forward to it.

Our pitch made the numpty kick himself?
    The referee Arsenal 12th man.
Bardsley is going to have to have Oxo surgically removed from his back pocket.

As I mentioned mate, softens the blow a bit for me that Thierry scored it, my all time favourite non-Sunderland player (Bergkamp a close second!)

I'll not be nearly as gracious next week mind, we want that one.
