3-0 down at Hull and I think the time has come for someone to say that we are in serious danger of the dreaded drop.

We do not have a squad capable of going with the troubles such as suspensions and injuries and in reality we do not have players capable of competing at this level. We can find all the excuses we want but every game is critical from here on out and unless we get some positive results in the next 4-5 games we could be in further trouble.

I have dug deeply in to my Bristol City heart and tried very hard to find some positives but I can't, and until I see some good results I will continue to be extremely concerned as to our future. We have been crying out for a dominant midfielder but as yet I can't see one on the horizon.

Dreadful days for our faithful but try and keep the faith.

Mike I will go further,we are going down.
We can not score goals, simple as.
Our great leader does not see fit to play pitman.
We are on the road to league One.
March fixtures are a non starter regards points, the honeymoon period is over.

Forget all the crap about a new team and a fresh start next season,if DM can't get this shower of ****e to perform this season it won't matter.SSN reporter said we haven't been in their 18 yard box or had a shot on target, bloody pathetic. We need some new blood now before it's too late. A good CH and a creative/goalscoring midfielder are a must. Why do players who score goals come to us and stop scoring,it's because with our midfield we create jackshit for the front men.We are deep in the brown stuff with a squad of players that are gutless and just not good enough.Rant over.

We've been in serious trouble since Ipswich spanked us 3-0 in the first game of the season, at home.
I then immediately called for Millens head having wanted him out last season, but despite the shocking performances it still took the board another 3 months to do the right thing and we are now seeing the result in this delay.

We're still lucky that no-one below us is winning but as per a previous post of mine last week, I can't see Forest or Millwall finishing below us, I can see Coventry and Doncaster going down, so I see the battle for the remaining relegation place to be between us and Peterborough.

The rest of the teams (Ipswich, Pompey, Watford etc) are all way too good to go down but we are truly shocking, and it's the boards fault that we are in this precarious position.

The only faith is that Coventry and Doncaster are (maybe?) worse than us, but survival is all that matters

Pompey losing 10 points might cheer me up but that is the only light on the horizon.
We are simply sinking without sight.
No characters in the team who will grab the game by the scruff of the neck and do something to make a win,
Too many below average sheep looking for a shepherd ....

I've kept believing for the last 3 years but it's getting harder to take every week. Our club seems to be sinking lower and lower every week and it shows no sign of ending. The faith is gradually ebbing away with each gutless performance this current shower of professionals dish up.

And I was expecting a spanking on this thread but finally I think we have all come to the same realisation regarding BCFC. If we keep us these kind of performances we are doomed to league 1 and I think we all know where that will lead us long term.

It has never really happened for us in the Championship despite the heady first year where for some inexplicable reason we got to Wembley and it's been downhill ever since. We should be better than this and the supporters are crying out to see us compete and yet we continue downwards week by week.

Someone please hear our cries for help - anyone!

If there's any justice, they'll lose more than 10.

They don't seem to be able to play 4-5-1 or 3-5-2 or 4-4-2

    Evening 1For

You wouldn't be out of order if you had a 'pop' back at a few on here when you doubted McInnes appointment.

Still, we are where we are and the Palace game is a must win. For my part I think McInnes has taken far to long to get a 'Caulker' and 'Hartley' to City - and as for his loan signing from West Brom - I wouldn't pay him in washers.

We will lose to Palace. Survival is all that matters now.
Forest are dire - but we can't beat them. Leeds were there for the taking yet we lose 3-0. We outplayed Coventry in all areas yet they beat us.
Its the DEFENCE that is the main problem and has been for several seasons. It has reached critical levels now - so many people were bleating on for years about Lee Johnson and a creative midfielder, but tghose poor fools have ignored the plainly obvious fact that our defence is L1 at absolute BEST. We have no back 4 and its now getting serious.
Delboy talks the talk, but now its time for action - and results.

I for one never, once, 'bleated' about LJ

I also said last year Millen would be an abject failure and would get us into trouble

I wanted a change of manager before this season started and especially after the opening humiliation against Ipswich

I still think DM is a great appointment, I do however think that the senior management at City know **** all about football and they are solely to blame for the whole ****ty situation.

    Anyone care to disagree ?

I blame Lansdown/Sexstone for ****ing awful decisions, and not ones that were even taken quickly, over the last 5 years, and that's why we are where we are now. No more excuses, we know the culprits.

Criticism is being given quite rightly about a dour performance,a dubious defence, lack of quality and leadership,Del talking the talk and 5 out of 6 games lost and that is all bang on,but what about the crossbar being hit again,2 saved off of the line and some good saves from our goalkeeper and Cisse off injured when we are already down to the bones.

We are poor but our team does deserve some credit, they do some things well apart from losing, let's not go down the road the "gasheads" have been following.

I don't think we will accept this situation and I believe it will change very quickly, why snipe and insult our own, let's have some patience,we gave it to GJ,we gave it to Mr Millen,we even gave support to Coppout, let do the same for Del for god's sake..
