Why is this muppet continuing to play for us? Cahill has been dropped to the bench after outperforming Bosingwa against United. Makes me wonder if Cahill was actually an AVB signing.... Line up for today: Cech ****er Ivan Luiz Cole Essien Meireles Lampard Sturridge Torres Mata Good to see the bison playing regularly now though KTBFFH
Nope. He was supposed to be marking Pienaar and Pienaar beat him to the ball. We've got a grip of ourselves now though and are the better team but we need goals!

It looks to me as if the players are absolutely paranoid about the mistakes that our defenders will make. No confidence, we're back peddling whenever they have the ball and could easily be further behind. Cech, Cole, Bosingwa and Luiz have all made huge mistakes so far and it was Bosingwa's throw in - nowhere near a Chelsea player, straight onto the head of an Everton player - that led to the goal, and why we didn't start with Cahill is beyond me. Not suggesting we would be any better with Cahill, but we can't have played any worse at the back than we have in this first half. Awful, awful, awful.
Agreed. I honestly don't think we would've conceeded that goal with Cahill on, simply because Bosingwa would be where he belongs - benched! We lose this then we're in massive massive trouble.
I don't know if I can blame Bosingwa alone for the way we're playing. Bos is nervous, which made him make the mistake, which led to the goal. It's either nervousness or complacency and it better not be the latter. Cole gave the ball away which nearly led to a goal, and Cech did the same - WTF is happening? Nobody wants to hold onto the ball - they just want to get rid of it for fear of being dispossessed, which in turn leads to mistakes. The only thing I can think is that AVB is making them think too much, instead of letting them play instinctively. Too much tactics and systems in their head. I'm expecting a much better second half from Chelsea, simply because the first half was awful.
He stood still when Pienaar was breaking through! That's not nervous. Maybe if we hadn't conceeded we wouldn't be playing so bad.
Well that's it - all our problems are solved; Malouda's on. To be fair, there aren't really too many other options - Bison has looked leggy since he returned from his injury.
.....and of course 30 seconds later; 2-0. Only good news is that Liverpool lost, and Arsenal are 1-0 down. Come on The Toon!
Sorry to say but since the summer Meireles has changed our midfield for the worse. Romeu rescues all his bad tackling, our midfield aren't fluid enough to do anything. Worrying times.
Yep, hopefully Arsenal stay the same. I want the Spuds to draw though, Newcastle could easily make 4th if us and Arsenal carry on like this.
