Sunderland vs Arsenal: Match Thread

It's fine to say "we're ****" and moan about Walcott and all your usual crap, but Man City had exactly the same problem when they went to the SoL. This is just how Sunderland play against big clubs ... we have to break them down, and they're a very hard side to break down.

We do need some more creativity if we're going to win, but we haven't "played ****". Defence has been solid, and we've played most of the game in their half.

 

Not a bad half, S'Land have defended extremely well and are very hard to break down. The free kick was our best opportunity and we wasted it. Otherwise a decent first half performance. Need to step it up a gear in the second half. Quick passing unlocks defences.

 

We need Arshavin on for Oxo

Bit stupid considering Larsson scored from a similar position at the Emirates. Perhaps both teams have now learned.
