Do you mean the same way as K K Kenny ? it alls gets too difficult after he's cocked it up so buggers off. 35 Million ? FFS !
fail - should have been sent off, watching Neville trying to argue otherwise was embarrasing. It was a clear red.
Maybe if Kenny took some responsibility of his own players and admitted Suarez was wrong, then your club would not have a tarnished rep.... even more disgusting that liverpool press have been rleaseing senstaionalist stories about United being racist... what a joke of a club Liverpool FC is, bloated on arrogance of past success, and now the tag of most succesful club has gone what have the got left?? A bitter support, a club left in the dark ages, weak academy and a tarnished rep.
I hate the twat, but Liverpool and most to do with Liverpool have shown themselves worse then SAF the past few month.
This. There are two ways of looking at it. Unfortunately everyone is all too happy to only view it one way. If you believe a man has lied, causing you to be banned from your profession and have your name tarnished forever, would you shake his hand? If Evra was the victim here, why did he even bother to offer his hand? Once Suarez snubbed him, why then grab his arm? Why not just take the moral high ground and ignore it all? Alternatively, Evra may simply feel the issue needs to be put to bed, and was right to offer his hand. Many men wouldn't have, so credit to him if that is the case. Suarez should have shaken it and moved on, but didn't. The second story is the one everyone is going for, obviously.
I honestly think Suarez let us down today. It just wasn't very professional and the whole tension over the Suarez/Evra handshake was apparent through out the whole match. And the bust-up in the tunnel just didn't help matters. Thankfully their isn't another United Vs Liverpool game to be played this season, so plenty of time to forget about this row and move on. SOMETHING WE SHOULD BE DOING NOW
hang on.... the guy has had to sit in stand for a month and think about it. only he and evra know what the score is... BUT he knows full well what every singe reds fan and his club and manager and team mates have done to support him. He paid them back by forgetting all about paying that back by being a petty little ****... you can say this or that o nthe net but the FACT is he was given a start by dalglish who BACKED him time and again and he decided to blank the guy. there NO BLOODY winning in that, it only refelcts back on himself. everyone knew whomever blakned the other would look bad, nobody expected suarez to do it. he's let his whole club down and whatever BIG TALK guys want to make suarez let the whole club down after it backed him to the hilt beleiving him totally.
Cynically speaking, LFC bodged their defence case. Their stories were inconsistent with one another (which doesn't necessarily point to a fabrication, but a lack of rehearsal and errors in communication.) They left themselves little option but to accept it.
Suarez should of started on the bench, and came on once all the ho-ha had died down a bit, Liverpool where rubbish today, must have been very difficult to concentrate with the circus sideshow. Mistake by Kenny, but we move on, hopefully it will start to all die down now.
Kenny said before the game that they TALKED to Suarez and agreed on shaking the hand and getting it done with. He has let his manager down and probably lied to him. Yes it is his decision, but you don't tell your boss one thing and go and do another, bad form that. It just prolonged it, if you are going to prolong it you might as well go to court!
simple, leave all INTERPRETATION aside. simple manners and half a brain would tell anyone just shake the hand and move on. its total self centredness to create another issue for your team mates and club when back a wet weekend from 8 match ban.
Agreed But that is football unfortunately. We still have 3 points to look forward to against Everton coming up though, not all bad
"messi" lad... you're lot were not that good the fact is glen "can't mark" jonhson did what he's done laods and let yet anothe roppoenet get a run on him. and jay spearing meeed up royally... ferdinand messed up royally the other end. the only lesson is gerrard has no legs not that anyone needed telling.
Would not call it a lesson, United where the better team, Liverpool very dissapointing, lost all the 50-50's lacked any urgency or creativity. Think we where set up to keep it tight and change the formation and personal after the 60 minute mark. It back-fired on this occasion.
