Like I said, we never deserved a goal and looked impotent, doesn't mean you were any more clinical. Sure you had a load of posession but no one looked like Scoring, Welbeck looked lost at times. I thought for the most part, apart from Johnson's sloppy mistake, our defence was solid today
And a last ditch tackle by ferdinand that the ref could not see so presumed it was not a foul and straight red. But yes overall united deserved to win.
Redknapp missing the point, that's not what the handshake's about. Although I can understand his frustration, being in court all week
Gary Neville showed his true colours today, thought he has been excellent on Sky, have lost all respect for him today.
Oh I forgot that qualification gets you a trophy. Arsenal, the biggest also-rans in the league. When was the last time you won a trohpy again? Oh yea, a year longer ago than us. Comedy gold.
Still think they should have just shook hands and got it done with. Just me, sometimes it is better to get it done and out the way. Now we will have more and more about Suarez when it could have been a lot more mellow from here on out. We didn't deserve anything and 10 points from 27 shows why we are not oging to get into the CL this year. I hope we win a cup or two but CL is gone for me. Our league form is just not good enough. Reminds me a bit of Rafa's first season.
the reporter was trying to imply that suarez not shaking hands at the start somehow made it into a bad tempered game. Kenny told the reporter he was bang out of order.
Terrible rebound? You mean the ball was flicked across the penalty area and he took a perfect volley? The only one lucky with a rebound was Suarez. And you seem to be forgetting the Scholes header directly at Reina and the Valencia shot that Welbeck was an inch away from flicking past Reina. Four clear chances -> two goals seems like a pretty good return to me. Your defence did well to contain us for much of the game, but we carved you open more than often enough to get the result
The interviewer also practically blamed all of the fracas and tone of the match on Suarez's refusal to shake hands. Dalglish took umbrage and said it was totally unfair to blame what happened on Suarez, he said the crowd had a bit of banter but both sets of fans were well-behaved. He asked the interviewer how many cards there had been considering it was such a 'nasty' atmosphere, according to the interviewer.
Fergie "Suarez is a discrace to Liverpool football club, he should never be allowed to play again, the history of Liverpool is gone with that" ****
It came off Hendos head and popped up for Rooney. Johnson should have done better to. And I never said it was worse than Suarez's rebound, I actually said we didn't deserve to score today
Why, what did he say? Was it post-match? I watched them at half-time and didn't hear anything untoward.
What did he say wrong?.. Like he always says, Football players are human beings as well, they got feelings too
Idiot, that's really going to blow everything out of all proportion now. He didn't want to shake his hand and that was his choice whether right or wrong.
