Not content with racially abusing Evra, he now rubs salt in the wound by failing to accept the olive branch that was offered, and shake his hand at the start of the match. It looks like he is going to be universally condemned for this act of unsporting behaviour. Well, we'll wait to see if Queen Kenny defends it, and whether the Mousers universally condemn the latest antics of this idiot.
Total idiot or maybe he just thins he is right and isnt a racist and is incensed that the man who dropped him in it is wanting to shake hands...is he proving that he was innocent? or just a tw@? ill go for the latter.
If he believes himself innocent of the charge, why should he feel anything but contempt for Evra? If anyone was in the wrong during the team handshakes, it was Evra for his assault on Suarez surely?
I suspect Suarez is a most unpleasant **** - however put yourself in his shoes - he believes he was abused and gave as good as he got but he served an 8 match ban while the guy who "set him up" got away scot free - would you easily shake hands with someone in those circumstances - I suspect Evra is not exactly a saint himself You are right though - he will be universally condemned
It's all kicking off there! Trouble in the tunnel at HT and now the Mousers are imploding. 2-0 Not sure whether to laugh or cry with Utd pulling clear in th PL. Oh sod it, I think I'll just carry on pissing myself at Kennys misery!! Lol
I don't know, I'm only guessing, here... But because it's a sport, and he's supposed to be a professional sportsman? Call me old fashioned, but when I played sport, I was taught to shake the other guy's hand, no matter what I really thought about him. It was all part of the discipline and character-building that one could rise above such pettiness, and so learn to be controlled in one's every day life. Of course, these so-called professional sportsmen are also supposed to set an example to their adoring fans, through whom many are living their own dreams. But, as I said, I'm old fashioned, so may be none of that matters to kids anymore, and perhaps it shouldn't. I wouldn't agree, but perhaps I'm in the minority?
ummm...to be fair, Suarez received an 8 match ban and has been vilified in the world press. Hardly pettiness, is it? If I were Suarez and was innocent, I would have kicked Evra in the nuts and stamped on his head as he lay on the floor, let alone shake his hand
Suarez is an utter ****bucket - if anyone should have refused a handshake, and have had legitimate reason to do so, it would've been Evra. But this is Liverpool and their victim complex we're talking about here. It should be fun watching The Grand Wizard try and deflect every question about it in his post-match interview...
It has been proven that the words he admits he used were not only racist here but in the context also extremely offensive, if not racist in Spanish, even in Uruguay. If he has a problem with the decision he should take it up with the language experts and not Evra.
Why do you guys hate LFC so much? They are not local rivals and usually finish high enough above you not to be considered league rivals either? I never have really understood it?
sour mousers did you just see Reina and Skrtle attack Evra for celebrating? Spaniards are sore losers...reminds me of that Barca keeper who couldnt handle Mourinhio celebrating Inter's victory over them never said this before but....Well done Evra
i dont hate them im just passing my opinion on footballing matters...however...Liverpool fans seem to get irate at happy Spurs fans on thier own board bigging up,and rightly so,thier own team...seems like all the old sky 4 are a tad bitter apart from the United fans who if anyone have reason to be arrogant.
Evra shadowing Suarez as he 'celebrated' wasn't a deliberate attempt to start a fight....ok, whatever you say
They haven't finished above us in 3 years, do you actually watch football? I don't consider them rivals, our team is light years ahead of their's. I just don't condone disgusting players - Suarez IMO is in the same bracket as that dirty bastard Diouf now.
Because their fans have the sense of entitlement of Man Utd fans, coupled with the nastiness of Chelsea fans. The thing is, they have no reason to feel entitled - and seem to be amplifying the nastiness to compensate. I would've added "delusion of Newcastle fans", but their fans have calmed down an hell of a lot in the past three or four seasons and instead focused their energy on supporting the team instead of bigging it up to all and sundry regardless of results or performances.
Horrid accents, horrid city, horrid club, horrid fans, horrid players. Other than that they're alright.
