Hope you don't mind , I pimped it up a bit.

 

Not at all, was going to do something similar myself.

 

Hmmm, I think it'll pick back up again, I can't get into that Toonforum thing, I don't like the fact that everything is separated into different sections, means that unless you live on there there's too many things to trawl through to get up to date...Also, miss banter from other fans.

Today is a write off for me, I'm going to try and sit back and enjoy some decent football from either/both teams. If we lose the game we lose nothing, we'll still be in the top 7 at worst, top 5 at best. We'll have been beaten by one of the most attacking, Champions League quality/cert for top 4 teams in the league. BUT just like we were against United, when the odds are against us, we can play anyone, control any game and gets any result - a point will be a massive bonus!

 

Almost sure it will. This is where we all met up and got to know each other and I think it'll come good again.

 

Haven't been on here for a while - why is it so quiet? You all haven't fallen out over something??
I was going to suggest I tweak the forum banner with maybe Ba instead of Tiote so showing our
best defensive, mid and forward players? Probably by the time it's up mind it will be time to get
the new summer signings included...

I can't see us getting anything from todays game but Spurs do have a few big names missing.

On the forum thing, I would stop all the negative comments "This place is dying" etc and just carry on as normal - if you don't like the quality of a thread, offer to improve it, if you are unable to improve something then please don't complain about it.

Just a few thoughts.

Was thinking of you when I posted the thread Andmcit, thought you'd have been able to give some input to it. 5 Goals came along and did his bit to make it more presentable and a bit more like GRB's threads.

Anyway, welcome back to the forum, you've been missed.

No falling out among ourselves, just some people found a new home after being pissed off by an invasion from a certain section of people who shall remain nameless. You'll no doubt get the full story eventually.

 

While today does seem like a write off, im going into the game more confident of a result than i was going into the Chelsea game. Stranger things have happened.

Were we to sneak a win, dare we dream?

 

If we win , I'd seriously openly talk about our chances of a top 4 finish.

I think that it's one of those matches that Shola should be starting. The last time he scared the **** out of Assou-Ekoto and Co with his physical strength and even scored. Then maybe in the second half we can unleash Demba 2 and Benny ...

 

This! I think Shola should feature! As back lines go spurs are lacking in strength - something Shoka actually does bring to our team. Personally I would sacrifice Cisse for Shola until halftime then depending on how the game is going swap them. In the final 1/4 hour bring HBA on. No matter how the game is going, he can produce the magic.

Cisse done more last week than Shola's done all season. He's bone idle.

spurs are going to score !! so we need a player who can score. shola is not that player !

 

For me, same line up as last week (minus the injured parties - Obertan for Raylor, Cisse for Best) and perhaps, PERHAPS bring Shola on later in the game - prefer to see Benny though!
