Jol, today, seemed to be saying that the club had gone as far as it could/would in negotiating a new contract with AJ and it was now up to the player. He also said that negotiations were about to start with 3/4 other players. Who do you think they are ?

The obvious candidates are those due up in the summer - Schwartzer, Sa, Grygera, Symogyi. Hopefully though it's securing longer term deals with the big 3 - Hangeland, Dempsey and Dembele.

What worries me is that that during the summer we may
    loose the 2 double Diamonds

Schwarzer has already signed an extension, was a few weeks back I think. Can't see the other three getting extensions to be honest. Kelly and Murphy are probably two of the three suggested.

That worries me as well rosc and all the mediia hype makes them prime targets, which is why we should get their contracts sorted, now.

Hangeland is in a way the dark horse though. I'm genuinely concerned that he might slip through the net. He's not a happy bunny at the moment - I don't know if you saw the clip of him in the tunnel at half time in the Man City game when he called Murphy over and seemed to be saying 'forget all that we'll do our thing'. It's also a strong rumour that it was he and Lew who challenged Jol at half time in Newcastle game. And we all know what happened to Lew a few days later. He's shown his loyalty by not rising to Wenger's bait and I really, really would despair if we lost him for all the wrong reasons.

Murphy, Dempsey and Dembele are the three who need new deals. I think Hangeland is on a fairly long term contract. Don't know anything about Brede being unhappy, although earlier in the season he was getting frustrated (as we all were) that the back four kept changing.
