Can see Bates appointing Harry Kewell just to troll you all... Ken Bates truly is a god at trolling, there's no way he could be seriously trying to 'help'.
Albert Ferrer (formerly of Bates' Chelsea) has now thrown his hat into the ring according to Spanish journo Guillem Balague. His coaching record consists of one 15th placed finish with Vitesse. Not so hot.
WILKO is too tied up with his beloved owls so you can discount him in any case his head is bigger thaN BATES!
STICK TO WHAT I SAID RECENTLY BATES TO KEEP REDFEARN INTIL WE HAVE A BAD RESULT IE BRIGHTON then he will go for the cheapest optionbut for goodness sake not Clarke he is totally utterly useless
Leeds60 Id like Keith Hill to be honest, then he can bring Butterfield and davies and we will be well on the way to a top team. Steele can be reserve goalkeeper.
Why does everyone think managers are going to bring players with them? Sky are saying we're interested in Freedman and as I said right at the start of the thread I think this would be a very good move.
They also said we wanted Ince. I'm pretty convinced we'll go for Redfearn after all the cosying-up from club director Lorimer and the players, which suggests he's now the favoured candidate rather than the fall-back option. Really sad if true.
Oh ja. Still, I think the wind's blowing in Redfearn's favour - even if he does poorly in the next three, you'll still get the easily-led ones saying 'GET BEHIND REDDERS' and 'THIS IS HOW REVIE STARTED OUT'.
Poyey!! Poyet? Bates turned him down when he applied after Gary was sacked. I thought we played well with him there as wise number 2. De canio would be good but I think Warnock is best option for what we need, even tho he's not Leeds Uniteds biggest fan
Morning All, and good morning Scarf, welcome to the Leeds forum. I'd like to see Warnock in the hot seat, though cannot see him and Bates getting on
Welcome to the board scarf. Hope to see your future posts. Personally my ideal person would be poyet but cannot see it happening at all
He ruled himself out on Thursday or Friday and Bates in his usual professional and tactful manner has roundly slagged him off, so there's no chance whatsoever of that happening.
Dont matter who we get LUFC will go nowhere while Ken Bates is the chairman of our once great club...
