I'll start by saying that Newcastle is now feeling as good as it ever has really, relagated, promoted, top 10, Possible european team all in 2 years

Chris Hughton, Loved him. Big respect

Alan Pardew, Happy so far, lets see how his consistancy and decisions go.

The Fat Controller, He has been seen to make very bad decisions conistantly. yet i cant helpt but feel he has and is actually trying to do good for newcastle all be it some selfishness in it.

little ****e bag, He is going to proberly do well in red but will return given the right circumstances come his way, carrol, richardson partnesrship O_O you heard it hear first

Kevin Nolan, Cant fault his effort and work

Who to slag off and wag my finger at?

...guti, i think he is great, magic at moments. But sometimes he really wastes the moments. ben arfa on the left, guti on the right, barton is centre with tiote behind and nolan ahead, best up front. is my winning combo for the rest of the season.

Best defense is a good offense
Colo williamson Enrique harper at the back

    Sell Perch.

I doubt Ben Arfa will be back before the end of the season.

"But sometimes he really wastes moment"

I know, such a waste to just go off the pitch rather than wave at the fans. The ****.

  5. Gutierrez is a good player, but i would personally like to see better at the club. He's hard working, determined, good in defense, can cause opposition to panic, but gives away possession and doesn't put in enough quality deliveries. I'd keep Jonas, and i think extra players could even make him improve his performances. He plays much better with competition for his place, but seems to step off a bit when he knows he won't be dropped.

I'd keep him to keep the competition for starting places, and to keep squad depth, but i'd like someone better to be honest. If Ben Arfa does the business, and we get a player like Gervihno, or Ireland gets back in shape, i'd start them over Jonas.

But remember what he did against Man City when Ben Arfa was threating to take his place for a long time.. he looked like Messi's big brother or something! scored a cracker, dribbled past players for run, produced good crosses and looked generally like the player he can BE when he WANTS to.. I say keep him unless someone comes up with a 8m - 10m offer. We need that strength in depth to keep everyone on there toes!

Getting rid of Jonas would be silly. He's good defensively and gives a great option on the left when need to be more defensive. He's also hard working and a decent player - perfect squad player for a team such as ourselves.

This happened ONE time and has turned into an urban legend. Probably the most infuriating comment about Jonas along with his mythical connection with Jose which should never be broken due to the possibility of catclysimic events.

Assume you meant Simpson at the back as well ;)

My favoured team for the season would be (Assuming Ben Arfa is back before next season):

    ---------------------Harper
    Simpson-----Williamson-----Colo-----Enrique
    -------------Nolan---------Tiote
    Barton------------Ben Arfa-----------Jonas
    --------------------Best

I think Ben Arfa is wasted on the wing and his style of play is perfect for playing off the front man, which Nolan's is not. he doesnt have the pace to be a second striker and has a good partnership with Tiote in the middle, where we utilise his leadership and Tiote's skill makes up for any shortfalls in Nolan's game. Also Barton is great on the right so I would leave him there.

Seems pretty good Smudger but Nolan isn't a DM... so I'm not sure about that, otherwise spot on about Ben Arfa!

  12. I agree mate, i think Jonas is over rated but i try not to criticize him to much, as everyone will just start bitching about me being a Jonas basher again. Can't be arsed with that **** again.

Jonas has the potential to be an awesome player, and at his best, he's better than Ben Arfa, but he doesn't do it often enough. Hopefully, with the feeling competition, Jonas will step it up. I like him because of his effort and the fact that when alot of our players are asleep at the back, Jonas will be trying to cut in and win the ball back in defense. I just don't like him in an attacking sense because most of his deliveries are pure cack. And i totally agree about this connection with Jose thing. Yes they pass well together, but that's the problem. They don't like passing to anyone else but each other, and their play is become more predictable by the second.

I'd keep Jonas for squad depth, but i want to sign better than him. Hopefully Jonas being dropped wont make his boyfriend Jose throw a tantrum.

I think competition for places is a factor with Guti. He did seem to play better when we had Ben Arfa available and he also seemed more consistent when we still had Duff. If reports of us signing half a dozen players in the summer are true, along with competition form HBA, Ferguson and Lua Lua we may see better from him when he has to earn his place instead of being a shoe-in due to lack of options. He is worth keeping at any rate unless we get a ridiculous offer.

Could you imagine if he actually played like he played against City every week?

Wow, just wow! we'll be challenging for the CL spots!
