The basis of a squad strong enough to mount a serious challenge is there. However, we will probably have to add more quality in the summer to make that a reality.
every club makes mistakes in the transfer market berbatov is finished at united, maybe its confidence but regarding carroll his first touch is poor and i dont think hes got enough quality to play at the top level
Unless the teams around us spend a great deal of money and a fortunate with their buys then there is a good likelyhood that a challenge will be mounted. United have to improve their midfield significantly and the defence will need some work too. Chelsea still need a major overhaul Arsenal Well where do you start. Without RvP they are a shambles Spurs. If 'Arry goes that will have an effect. Can they keep Modric? Who will replace Van der vart? City Who knows what/who they will buy! Newcastle have over-performed this season so far.
id agree with that analysis , a lot of teams seem to be in transition and need rebuilding thats why i think city have been able to be strong this season, they've spent a lot of money but its paid off for them in the sense that the rest of the top teams have problems and they have capitilised
We shouldn't be over confident. De Gea, Evans or not, United will field a very strong side against us. Rooney, Young and Nani will be back too I presume.
WTF page 12? Chris why did you not wait for me before posting the match thread? Bring it you Manc ****s! ABU! ABU! ABU! ABU!
