How do you judge the club size though?

Major honours, longevity in top flight and average attendance would be my credentials. I personally don't think finances should come into it at all.

Spurs have always seemed to spend a fortune and not get anywhere consistantly. They f''ked up when they replaced Jol with Ramos, why, because he had champions league experience?
Looking at Rodgers and the way he has learned from the game, especially from a young age (respectivly) for a coach, manager, he's doing things the right way. He's started from the bottom, had experience from the top, and is making his mark.
    I am one proud Jack

I'd agree <ok> Their respective credentials are about the same.

Although I'm sure someone will want to break it down to try and prove it wrong ..... <whistle>

Next season is the important one for Rogers - if they have the larger clubs sniffing around Dyer or Sinclair, which it entirely probable, how he keeps hold of them or replaces them will dictate if they suffer Second Season Syndrome or not.

If you can't see what he's saying you 2 then fine. But for the record what has the size of either club to do with his point...fuk all, he just has to put something disparaging at every opportunity.

Not really sure what this thread is about to be honest...

We are not currently looking for a manager, and Rodgers' name has barely been mentioned at all even if we were.

If you can't grasp the concept that Spurs and Everton are of similar size and stature and that a very good manager like Moyes might well take what he's done at Everton to another level at Spurs, then feel free to wallow instead in your victim role.

Brendon Rogers? Shame the OP can't even spell his own manager's name right.

I'd prefer Martinez over him anyway, he was the one who started the Swansea revolution.

Anyway I hear Rodgers has a release clause.

    Well said mate <ok>

Hopefully alot of our players look so good because of our style of play, theres no individuals at Swansea at the moment, they all fit in perfectly. Thats the reason we play the way we do. I hate and love the way way we are compared to Barca, but, each players nows how to pass, move and chase down the ball. Many of our players have moved on, and achieved f==k all. Its taken years to asemble an ethos that weve got at this club, and, as proven, its not a player, or, even a manager, its the evolution of an ethos of a club and a modern way of playing the game that has helped Swansea rising up the leagues <ok>

All you need to know is whether others can or not, I can see straight through you like a window.

Clearly, you can't. Otherwise you wouldn't have spat your dummy out when I mentioned that Moyes might well relish a chance at Spurs.

I don't think it's any coincidence that Swansea are playing attractive attacking football under Rodgers. He certainly knows how to get the best out of the players he's got and get them not only working as a team, but playing creatively too. The second season in the premier league for recently promoted sides is always a big test - I agree, a lot will depend on Rogers keeping his best players.

Agree with you piskie, to some degree. Weve reached the big time now, and alot of our players have shone in the spot light, and our manager, but, every time we step up a league, some of our players leave and come to nothing. The way our board has managed the second season syndrome has been great. We are not a big club, but, it doesnt mean we cant be one of the greatest playing sides in the premier league.

You didn't quite say it like that though.

You made out like Spurs operate on an unlimited budget and throw money about like Man City or Chelsea.
