    :)

    SUMMARY:

LUST is now the 9th biggest supporters' trust in the UK. Great achievement.

A number of local businesses have come forward saying they'd be interested in investing in the club.

Impossible to get liability insurance for the march - get turned away as soon as the name 'Leeds United' is mentioned.

Police have been massively supportive about the march on Saturday, and there will be a friendly contingent of motorcycle officers escorting the march and a Football Supporters Federation independent observer to make sure there's no heavy-handedness.

The march will be ending at the East Stand where there might be a speech from the Trust about their aims.

There are two interested groups abroad who are working with the Trust to make a prospectus for investors about what makes Leeds United appealing.

There is an interested party that's come to the Trust and says they would buy the club if possible. They were involved pre-2008, but no more can be revealed at this time.

Trust has "weighty political backing" from Yorkshire MPs, "high profile political figures" and has made contact with some celebrities to back the Campaign for Change.

Trust Chairman has spoken with Suzannah Bates, who is apparently quite open to suggestions about change. Compared with "20 minutes of being shouted at" when Ken is on the phone.

There's also a summary from the Scratching Shed available here.

Why am I not surprised that Ken Bates shouts at them down the phone when they try to make peaceful, civilised contact?

These are the big points. Can't be understated what a brilliant job the LUST lads are doing, and let's hope there are plenty of developments on the investment and political fronts. <applause>
