Im sure theres going to be loads of speculation about 'Arry' and the England job, but reading this, Brendons going no where. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11731/7500032/Rodgers-refutes-rumours
I suspect he might change his tone the minute someone offers to double his salary, not saying it would be us though, for me he is too unproven still.
Hopefully he's learnt his lesson, Yid, looking at the article hes going to progress and enhance his career with with us. All the attributes of a great manager in the making
Rodgers has done an exceptional job at Swansea so far. Swansea are a joy to watch and a credit to the Premier League. If Redknapp does take the England job, I wouldn't expect Levy to go for such an inexperienced manager, though. It would be interesting to see what would happen if a side like Villa or Everton went after him in the summer. He's proclaimed his devotion to Swansea, but he did the same thing at Watford and then left to join Reading. You'd like to think that he might have learned a little from that experience, but only time will tell if he has.
Rogers does look like he's got a good career ahead of him, might be a bit early for him to be taking on a club like Spurs though. I think someone like Moyes might be tempted though. He's worked wonders at Everton with nothing but two pennies to rub together. Spurs have spent massive amounts of money in the last few seasons, so it might be something that Moyes would relish - the offer of managing a similar sized club, albeit with better prospects and more scope for squad development.
Going by the last few windows it would seem as though we're not willing to spend silly amounts of money anymore, but yes, certainly more than Moyes is used to. I have mixed feelings about him though,
Remind us as to exactly how much Spurs have spent in the transfer market in the last few seasons - then subtract from that figure the money generated from sales. #justasking
This is not about working out net figures. Point being that Moyes would have transfer money made available to him at Spurs, whereas he didn't at Everton, yet still managed a decent return for them.
The facts: In the last "few seasons" Spurs have spent £64m on new players - in the same period they have sold players to the value of £72m Of the money generated from sales over £50million came from players that were at Spurs prior to Redknapp's arrival.
Owen Coyle was the next big thing just last year and now he is struggling and hardly gets a mention anymore. Rogers has to do a lot more before getting linked and be in serious contention for the big jobs.
Reality check - in the time that Redknapp has been at WHL he has had NO funds made available to him as he isn't in control of buying and selling. More importantly as Spurs are keen to spend money on a new ground I sincerely doubt if much money would be made available for new players, not that we need them, our put together on a shoestring squad is currently closer to the league leaders than your lot are to us.

Why not? It makes more sense to. Moyes has spent over £20mill in a surprising amount of seasons for Everton.
Brendan , The man goes at the moment can do or say no wrong imo ( which is a bit worrying) ,just looking over my shoulder for the boulder which will flatten my dreams
bonymaen don't give it a second thought mate, as Jenkins always comes up smelling of roses, when it comes to picking managers!...............
Not sure that's an insult, Notso. Spurs and Everton are similarly sized, in my opinion. We're far better run at the moment and appear to be moving in the right direction though, whilst Everton are stagnating.
I'd agree with that too, we're ahead of them at the moment, but they've been extremely successful in the past.
Thank you. Good to see that not everyone leaps to naive assumptions. Noto, you'll also note that I said 'with better prospects and more scope for squad development'
