Fingers crossed the match is on ... I finally persuaded Mrs OT to come to a game (she hasn't been to one for about 8 years).
That snow had best **** off, I almost missed QPR last season because of it stopping me from getting from Dunfermline to Edinburgh (I missed the rearranged game as well but that's my fault). I can do without missing a game this season because I can't make the bit of the journey from York to Hull.

I fully appreciate that my snow reports are really boring but here's another one; My decking was clear of snow when I got back from picking the kids up from school half an hour ago. It is now covered in snow. Stay tuned for more riveting updates.
You'd have thought the radiation would have kept it nice and toastie!!! Can you believe there are holiday companies offering coach trips to go and see Chernobyl this Summer?!?!?! Make sure you bring your Factor 500,000!!!
Have you heard the Ukranian Emergencies minister's advice? Basically get up and exercise because "it hasn't killed anyone yet and it'll just make you fitter". Being more specific he recommends running 5 or 6 miles every morning, and bathing in cold water all year round as good ways to keep warm. And the Russian energy company Gazprom is helping. They've apologised to European countries for the drop in supply to them, it's because it comes through Ukraine and they're using more gas than was expected when the contract was drawn up.
He should have asked for my advice before buying. My Spear and Jackson shears only lasted five minutes. I have no sympathy.
The Met Office is saying that the weather in Hull will improve over the next couple of days so hopefully the game will be on, because I'll be fuming if I go back to Hull for no game when I'll miss midweek fixtures as it is.
