I noticed that too, Oshea does seem to misplace the odd pass, he is great in the air and superb and tackling heading and reading the game though.

Turners mistake was terrible, it was Sunday league at best. Turner is strange, he has some great games like against Norwich and then he does something like this against Boro, I just can't decide is I rate him or not. I have got a feeling he might become a favourite of MON's if he can play to his potential.

He's always going to be slow though, Vegas. Big drawback, that.

This is very true, but Collins and Dunn are similar and MON loved those 2. For me Killgalon was a much better player as he had a bit of a turn of speed when he needed it, does anyone know when he is back??? is it sooner than Brown?

I would go for Colback who I thought was brilliant last night...I'm sad to say that Richardson was poor in defence again...

I'm surprised that no body has mentioned my star, Mr Bardsley, up and down that right wing, solid in defence, fantastic goal line clearence, good crossess all round first class game for me.

You just beat me to it Syd, and look at the time it took, not MotM, but Bardsley had a great game, excellent goal line clearance, almost scored too.

Phil Baresi Bardsley is the proverbial 7/10 every game full back these days and steady away. Our Mr reliable.

I am a massive, massive fan of Bardsley and he is first on my team sheet when fit. Tackles like a steam train and has developed a good attacking game now.

Loves his 25 yard pile drivers too.

Colback was motm for me, he reminded me of Scholes. Bardsley is a proper footballer and I love him.

Colback or Bardo were our best players last night IMO, but best player on park was their left back Joe Bennett - thought he had a stormer......

Colback for me. Never looked troubled all night. Took his goal brilliantly. Gardner was also excellent again as was Bardsley. Thought Sess, McLean, Turner and Ricco all had off nights. Hopefully they'll all be at it on Saturday.

Runner up to Gardner for me Syd, we all know Bardsley always gives his best. (Well some of us do)
I just think last night Gardner seemed to be the Sunderland player who wanted it more and like I said it was him going round geeing the lads up shouting at them, pretty sure he pushed past MON to do it too.
    Definitely didn't see any homesickness.

Turner does what he always does. Puts the ball in the air, Head or foot. Out box or theirs.
Richardson was ****e with a capitol 'S'. I'll take bets on it. When Bridge gets in, he's in for good.
O'Shea. Defending not to bad but distribution. Christ. Awful.
Colback and Gardener overran in middfield.
Larson Annonymous throughout the whole match.
Sess poor passing again, greedy again, did the biz. again.

All in all over two legs I thought we were very very lucky. (Well done Boro) Maybe it's right what everyone is saying. We have a lucky manager.
Now he just needs to learn our players how to pass to a Sunderland player. We were terrible.
