16/1 winner and 16/1 second, surely a moral victory for yours truly, only joking. Well done Halpins <wah>

    Sporting Life list of candidates:

    Harry Redknapp
    Roy Hodgson
    Alan Pardew
    Stuart Pearce
    Jose Mourinho
    Arsene Wenger

I guess the boulevard press will be baying for an English manager (cos we did so well under Steve Mclaren, Kevin Keegan, Glen Hoddle and Graham Taylor <laugh>) so that rules out Mourinho and Wenger but they wouldn't want it anyway. Imagine the phone call "Jose - fancy leaving one of the greatest clubs in the world to manage a bunch of talentless twats with egos the size of icebergs and a football association that is so PC they won't call you manager, they'll call you "personger"

If they appoint Roy Hodgson I'm going to apply for German citizenship <doh>

Cheers Oddy...<cheers>..no great panic since the missus is being seconded rather than changing companies and will travel over weekly initially until we get settled...fits lovely into the onset of the evening meetings..home alone again <laugh>..although pre May is our target for permanent move...the old relocation budget helps too!!

I made the right call re voluntary redundancy..another 800 AZ pharma staff heading for the enforced package..changed times.

Wish I could get something like that mate - I'm sick of working in the capitalist system, slaving my bollocks off just to keep the share price moving upwards so some rich twat somewhere is getting even richer ................... and all the Execs getting their bonuses and share options. My missus is setting up her own company and if that takes off I'll be jacking in the 9-5
