    also Burnley were successful once and Man City and Newcastle.

    Wanderers FC were also once successful

    Once successful doesnt mean to much if your a shadow of the former teams success.

    Sunderland were successful once. Are they hated for that, no. I don't hate Man United, that feeling is reserved almost entirely for the Mags (and partially for Stoke, they don't play football, they play, as someone said on our board, a more feminine version of netball). Don't hate a club because it's successful, hate them because they don't play good football, or they are your rivals. That said, SAF is a whiny ****, just like Wenger, but I wouldn't say no if they asked to manage Sunderland!
