So tumbleweed No.1 how do you think the promotion race is shaping? Ah yes, I agree it does look like the relegated clubs are posing the biggest threat at the moment. What was that tumbleweed No.2? - You say that if we played and won yesterday we would now be in 4th place and only three points off 2nd. Yes indeed that is the case. I guess things aren't that bad afterall.
This division is still wide open including the automatics. I would love to see West Ham go on a bad run and drop down a few places because I reckon their fans are just waiting to have a go at big Sam. With the fans on their backs and the burden of all those big name expectations I think they could go into melt-down.
Pompey were so close to getting a point and yet so far. Awful defending for the goal. Good news @ Southampton and another home loss to Millwall of all teams even if it was the fa cup. Less than 9,000 there (8,914 i think the crowd was) oh dear. Adkins OUT OUT OUT. Lol.
Big game tuesday. If we can grab a 1-0 @ Birmingham and then still have a game in hand....Happy Days,.
We need to get some momentum again, hopefully against Bristol and then the Birmingham game will be mammoth. We could get a result there if the lads play well, but Birmingham are probably the most effective team at the moment, so they will start as favourites.
as daft as it seams i would easily trade losses to Bristol and Brighton FOR WINS @ Birmingham and Blackpool.
If we are realistically going to challenge promotion we have to beat some of the teams in and around us so defeat against Birmingham & Blackpool would leave us in a very tricky situation. On the same note, we have to beat teams near the bottom and the draw against Donny now means we have to beat Brizzle
