Will 'Arry still be manager of the Spuds if he is found guilty? It really couldn't have come at a worse time for them.
If/when he is convicted, could the spuds justify employing a convicted fraudster and still hope to treated with a shred of respect? If I were Levy, I would have confiscated Arry's key to the petty cash box months ago....then again, I wouldn't trust Levy with it either
I had this same conversation on the Tottenhma board a few weeks ago - to my surprise there were one or two who questioned what position the club would take if he was found guilty. It goes back further for me; before the trial 'Arry and Levy must have sat down and gone through the case with their brief, Levy must have wanted to know what the likely outcome would be and what potential impact that would have on the club - the fact he's said nothing, allowed him to carry on his job and even laid on private jets for him would suggest that he backs 'Arry 100%. This is fine until he is found guilty, Levy has actually created a difficult position for himself should the worst happen for 'Arry. As a football fan I hope he gets off, he is one of a dying breed of open managers who interview well, he is also IMO (with the exception of O'Neill possibly) the only hope we have of enjoying any kind of international success and English success is important to me, that said England won't go anywhere near him if he's guilty and the stigma attached to this case may put England off altogether anyway....
actually I don't want Arry to get anything. Its trivial in terms of other football goings-on, and City megabucks rip-offs. State employees get treble that money for just about managing to wipe their Arsenal. Arry is innocent.
Ole 'Arry is good fun so I too wouldn't want him to have to be a guest of Her Majesty's. I mean here is a man who said he would rather pay too much tax than too little. Now who'd bang up someone like that I ask while there are thousands of rich folk who pay accountants to keep them paying too little tax. Now you got me thinking that too pal. Arsene has done well for us. I think no one will argue that his record is only bettered by SAF. But these days it seems we are going almost nowhere. It's not just the lack of investment, spending if you like and that may be down to the board and not just Arsene but there are areas of responsibility that are solely Arsene's so a fresh pair of eyes are needed. Someone who can see what's gone wrong that Arsene can't. I hear Steve Bould is being lined up for the assistant's job..... http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/footba...-in-line-to-become-arsenals-assistant-manager Perhaps GG returning ( if at all possible ) will allow for some badly-needed healing to take place and healing which goes back a long way.
How the feck did you miserable doomer gits convert a thread about the spuds manager into an anti Wenger one? Feck off to another thread with your **** please. Thanks
