Agreed. You will get massively shot down for this though by the sun shines out of NA's arse club

With you there Beddy I turned up feeling quite positive, the longer the game went on the colder and more miserable I got, this was not the Saints I had been watching in 2011 and I cannot figure out why. There was some good things to enjoy, but not enough of them, schoolboy errors cost us dearly, if we are going to succeed then some rapid thinking is required in every department, I am hoping that Saturday sees a return to normal, we should have a more competitive midfield, maybe Hoover and Sharp to look forward too, in NA we trust but I am feeling a bit sceptical at the moment, and I am just beginning to feel my extremities coming back to life, boy was it cold.

I agree and perspective must be maintained. However lets not kid ourselves weve only won two out of the last 10 legue games and havent won any match for 5 matches no matter who you are thats worrying form. The fans job though is to remain positive and get behind the lads at the game which I dont think is happening enough at the moment.
Postivies form today Lallana sounded like he had a blinder, bart did well by all acounts and chaplow guly de ridder and reeves all got match time which they all needed for differing reasons.

4/6 points from our next two games and everyone will stop whinging again.

I can't believe some saints fans. You don't hear reading fans crying every time they lose a game, and they are consistently battling for promotion from the championship, which was always going to be about our level this season having just been promoted.

If someone had given you the choice of being top two at this point in the season you would've taken it, no doubt!

But the fact is we have lost games we should be winning, our form has drastically declined and their seems to e very little determination to get it back.

That is what is bugging me!

We have this great opportunity ad we ARE going to blow it unless they pick themselves up!

It is do tight at the top now so we really need to get back to winning ways ASAP!

How it was meant to come across was...

For people who want to moan about about us losing a match or not being the best of form at the moment should go and support P*mpey for a day, and see how bad it for their fans at the moment. As much I dislike them, they don't know what is going to happen to their club or if they will even have one to support soon, and I wouldn't wish that on any supporter. It was not long ago we were in the same position as them. I am in no way saying I want people to go and support P*mpey because they are moaning about Saints "form" because I dont. I'm just saying people who are moaning about 1 game of football and constant posts about our form should look at teams like P*mpey , Darlington etc and think how lucky we are.

Sorry I have to disagree a bit on Gulys behalf, the fact was that he was the only one chasing around trying to get the ball off of the opposition, the rest were pussy footing around seemingly afraid to pick up a booking, he registered more fouls because he made more contact, sadly the timing wasn't good enough, but that may be down to missing out on a few games, nothing wrong with his endeavour, he started to play better when he went in to the hole changing places with Chappers after they scored, there was suddenly more purpose in the side, but one more foul and it would have been another unfortunate red card, we didn't need that. Perhaps if they show the all angles vid you could just concentrate on his performance and you may be surprised at how much effort he does put in. Not his night this time, just as it wasn't Foxys night at Brum, or Lambos at Brighton, it will happen to the best of them.

I agree with the sentiments expressed by Beddytare. On the basis of the results over the past two months (so this is not based on personal personal opinion but fact ); the wheels may not have fallen off the cart but have certainly come loose and if this form is extrapolated between now and the end of the season we will struggle to maintain a top 6 finish. Again, not opinion, but a matter of statistical analysis.

For me, I am coming to terms with the feeling that we may have been punching above our weight; added to which teams have worked out how to beat us both home and away. Adkins needs to come up with a Plan B because Plan A no longer works and the biggest weakness in our squad is our defence. We leak goals - its been going on since the start of the season and in the previous good times we simply outscored the opposition. We failed to address this problem at the start of this season and we have not improved the situation over the January transfer window; when we seemed to have spent most of our efforts chasing strikers.
