These are the people that own the "gasheads"..

    * - N.J. Higgs 30.49%, G.M.H. Dunford 26.80% and B.W. Bradshaw 19.07%

    These are the paid directors..

    *Chairman: Nick Higgs.
Directors: Geoff Dunford, Barry Bradshaw, Edward Ware, Rodney King, Chris Jelf, Ken Masters and Brian Seymour-Smith.

Point one the owners and directors are the people who own and finance " gasheads" and will develop the club if they succeed in their new stadium.

The stadium and ground will be owned by UWE and they in turn will be " gasheads" landlord and lease it to them..

The minimal is owned by Geoff Dunford (Memorial Stadium Company) they will sell it to Sainsburys and collect all the dosh, subject to planning permission.

That is as I understand it.

The richest football club in the world rent their stadium<ok>

SL has no claim what so ever on the Mem it's owned by a company set up by the Milkman.

you understand wrong. the lease will be bought for 999 years meaning no rent. uwe will not be landlords. the stadium will be rovers. it wont be like what happened with eastville stadium. mistakes been learned.

the uwe stadium subject has been done already and higgs has provided all info about this. the money for the mem covers all debts owed to everyone and covers the life time lease on uwes land which is 999 years and also leaves us rent free. like it or lump it, that ladies and gents (and wiz <smooch>) is fact.

all subject to planning permission though <whistle>

but lansdown publically stating his takeover of bristol rugby and not denying bristol with move in with city and confirming bristol got 1 more year left of the lease at the mem points towards bristol will be moving in with city. the ashton vale locals wont like that 1 bit. plans for every other weekend city games changing to every weekend with the egg chasers and city. they wont like that 1 bit. me thinks lansdown has shot himself in the foot with this :)

cjs,so if the money Dunford gets being as he is the owner of The Memorial Stadium Company and currently "gasheads" landlord is going to pay off the £3m plus debts that BRFC owe and also pay the 999 year lease to UWE what collateral has Nick Higgs offered to Dunford for all of these millions because he's not offered it for peanuts or charity...?

no one has suggested otherwise wiz that dunford owns all. no one is suggesting otherwise that the dunfords and directors profit from us. we know this. no arguments. rovers pay rent to dunford. who pays that rent? dunford. he takes it out of 1 of his companies and pays the other which invests back into the club in some capacity like pay a loan or bill or wages etc.
best thing about moving to uwe would be the life time lease which is 999 years paid meaning its ours rent free as all paid for already out of the sale of the mem which also pays off all debts to everyone leaving us debt free. simples. rugby can come with us and pay us rent or move to city and pay city rent. if i was lansdown i would move rugby to city. all win that way. our pitch dont get ruined while you pay for an expensive special pitch to handle the rugby <ok>

Would of agreed with you a few years back, but look at Swansea's and Reading's pitch now and they are doing ok, both new grounds so maybe with a new ground things are different now?

Maybe right Red, our pitch has a spring underneath which doesn't help and on the odd occasion a player takes a piss on it which also doesn't help.<doh>

look at watfords and wigans pitch. they obviously dont use same tactics to sort their pitch out after the rugby. their pitch is awful. i presume special grass and good groundsmen be needed. i hope it works out for you when they move in <ok>

Steve Lansdown owns the land at Ashton Vale,if we get the go ahead to build that stadium it has been priced between £70m and £85m less the £20m sainsburys are paying for Ashton Gate means they still have to find £50m to £65m to build...

Dunford is going to pay off your debts £3m plus, pay for a 999 year lease and give to you rent free for nearly a thousand years,he's got approx £20M from sainsburys in total.

Where's the collateral, where is his profit,he ain't doing it for peanuts.

Higgs must have guarantees of other loans or finance to back and secure the project,"gasheads" are going to be up to their eyes in debt.

    Can you not understand that...?
