More snow is on the way.

Well I've taken the liberty of walking our city's fair streets this morning and I can confirm that the snow/ice is slowly melting.

It's still nippy like, but not face tearingly cold like t'other day. I suspect a slightly milder temp is on the way, though I'm no Sarah Cruddas (mmm, Sarah Cruddas).

To conclude, the slippy white stuff should be gone by Saturday.

There, I predicted it.

 

How would you like to live in Novosibirsk, Siberia. The warmest day over the next week will be -12 with a minimum of -22. That being in Celsius of course. Brrrrrrrrrrr

 

I looked at the BBC weather site yesterday and it did say sleet and snow on Thursday/Friday. That may just be Wessie land weather though

 

not really i wanna see snow fed up of everyone going on about it and i've not seen any :-(

The beeb won't be too concerned. It doesn't count as one of their ten games so they can show the replay or show another game instead. Plus they had the Scottish cup game on at the same side, they could have easily shown that on the main BBC channel rather than just BBC Scotland (no contract issues preventing this that I am aware of).

 

I was not meaning what you posted above. The game was of local rivalry and should have been a goodie. Yes they get another pick and maybe the CARDIFF CITY V. HULL CITY game will be chosen in its place. Fingers crossed for those who cannot make the game.

I've noticed the weather thing on my iphone has changed. It's not going to be 3/4 degrees like it misled me originally, it's gonna stick at zero.

To make matters worse, it predicts snow tomorrow!

On the radio yesterday it said that it is predicted that Yorkshire may get temperatures of -15 towards the end of the week, which (they said) is colder than the arctic

No worries. IMO, its one of the top derbies in this country. they both hate each other. lol

 

Nope. Its worse than that. Harry was found Not Guilty and so can now become the next England manager. Prison or working for the FA ? Thats far worse. For now he will be back @ Spurs training ground.

 

Derby hate them that much that they pay for a plane to fly over pride park at random games with a banner towing behind. The banner that came over for the city game read "we only had 10 men", which related to Derby winning @ Forest earlier in the season even though they wer a man down

Well it's definitely getting heavier where I am ( Ferriby)and is starting to settle.

 

I can confirm that HU1 is starting to see heavier snow.

I don't know if it will settle, let's hope not as this morning all the first lot was just starting to properly melt.

Why can't it just be hot and sunny all the time?

 

I read this morning that it would start snowing at four o clock around these parts and wouldn't stop for around twenty four hours.

They got the first but right, let's hope the person who fore caste that has a 50% success rate.

It's the real big heavy flakes coming down now.

 

I can confirm that West Yorkshire is grey, miserable and rainy. So is the weather!!
