Good Morning All,

You'd think Redfearn had just won the FA Cup, the way people are going. Now, both McCormack and Lonners have publically given there support to Redfearn to take our hotseat. Lonergan actually said 'Tactics key to Bristol City triumph', I thought it was having better players, and playing against 9 men. With respect billyboy could have chosen the side to beat nine men brizzle. I have a nasty suspician that if / when (as expected) we beat Brighton at the weekend, that Ken will hand the managerial reigns to Redfearn....

Bates has said :- I am contacted every two weeks by some new would be overseas saviour or a middleman who claims to represent some Sheik Rub-A-Dub.” Last week on Yorkshire Radio, he claimed that offers of investment: “…come through the door every week of the month. We are surprised, however, that with an average of at least twenty offers of investment a year, none have proved credible enough to move forward.

Dilema time. If it was the last game of the season and the result did not effect us in any way, but would make manure suffer, i.e lose the league, would you ever want us to lose???

    Elland,

To be truthful If Bristol had a more clinical finisher they couldve beaten us, someone like Maynard maybe :)

If they'd had a better finisher, the game would have been closer. But I doubt the result would have changed. The table doesn't generally lie. They are where they are because they're not the strongest side in the division. Only our consistency (or lack of it) & Rachubka's antics a few weeks ago explain mainly why we are where we are. Had he been manager, I think SG would also have been able to enjoy 3 points on Saturday.

As to the dilema, close call. Who would win the league if we lost a game & MauUre wouldn't therefore win the league?

Dilema, hmmm I hate both so much so I guess I would be on holiday somewhere hot and pissed up so I wouldnt know the result !! as for redfearn I think he needs more experience, but I think its another scapegoat for bates.

    Morning all <ok>

I think the Rachubka games have now evened themselves out with all the reds we have had recently!

I can see what your saying Elland/Kissa but did you see how many men we were packing behind the ball in the first 30 mins? We looked much better IMO. The silly mistakes where still there for all to see, Becchio not getting tight enough on his man when he got back & O'Dea getting pulled out of position to name two but the grit was back.

Of course the lads are going to back Redders. they now him, many probably very well (Thompson White etc) he is the current gaffer, McCormack scored in his system & Loners is the captain. I would expect nothing less than a showing of loyalty exspecially after SG was dumped.

If he gets the job done then why not ? Didn’t Oleary get his job under similar circumstances (okk the whole back board was fired but you get my drift) There’s been plenty of Success stories like this, look at Atkins at Southampton, a former Physio!

My only concern is the games he cuts his teeth in. No disrespect but these are games we should win (maybe Brighton a potential draw) so lets have a look at how we play & see if any negative signs from Graysons rein are blatantly still there

Oh and I'd give up a nothing game at the end of a long season for them to lose the league. Who wouldnt?

Lets say it was a parallel universe, and by us losing it meant that Millwall would win the league ahead of manure

Yep, all the saves though decent stikes, you'd expect any keeper worth his salt to save em, whereas our goals, we gave keeper no chance

Millwall winning the league instead of ManUre on the back of us losing? Yeah I'd take that, depending on who we lose to. Anothing side who we're not bothered about where there's no local pride & its not a team like Chelski, then yes no probs. I'd even be able to go into my local, which would have a few 'Wall fans in it proudly resplendent in my Leeds shirt knowing they'd buy me a pint. No problem!!!

Firstly, we shouldn't get over excited by sats result, because up to the sending off bristol were the better team. Great 3 points though, but lets not get fooled by it.

It would suit bates to keep redfearn, a cheaper option to him.

The time we beat Arsenal or was it a draw, when hassellbaink scored with a header. That result effectivly gave the title to scum. I can't remember if we needed the points at the time, but that was one game I'd have taken the bullet.

I thought it was the time we beat them, when Viduka scored at the end, which also kept us safe.
