Got lucky there, Carroll should have scored.

Even having played 75 minutes, Walker is faster than Downing...ave some of that!

Plenty of teams will leave Anfield with nothing...but plenty also leave with a point...including us! :D

How long will it take you to reach 50 points Scousers?

Not sure how Suarez wasn't booked for his handball, which would have been his second, but I'll take that result, considering.
No van der Vaart, no Lennon, no Defoe, no Sandro and most importantly no Redknapp, yet we still take a point at Anfield.
    Not great, but not bad.

Parker was excellent, Livermore had a very, very solid game and we defended pretty stoutly, but our possession was poor in the second half and we lacked a cutting edge.

Considering our injuries and the fact we had no manager tonight, a point is a great result.

We defended as a unit with Friedel, Dawson and Walker particularly impressing (I don't mention King as he's so solid 99% of the time).

Going forward our options were always going to be limited with our lack of creativity - Bale's chance was the standout but he was off his game tonight and that showed when he got angry with Agger.

I think we deserved a point overall and I'm pretty happy with the performance.

  14. Good result overall.

Now to locate our extensive 'MIA' list of players before the 11th...

A supposedly world class player, one on one with the keeper to win the game, and bottled it. Gerrard, Rooney, Van Persie, Aguero all score that goal. That's why you will win **** all.

    Bale was disgustingly bad.
Kranjcar was immense in defending. Tackle after tackle after tackle.

Apart from that one Suarez header where the defence was left wanting, Dawson was very, very good.

Bale was just awful. So disappointed about his dive. Really, really am. There are two aspects to his game I don't like. First is how he does sometimes make out he's been shot. Second is his complaining. If a foul doesn't come, get up and move on!

Is there a PL conspiracy to attempt to seriously injure Parker?

Disappointed in Bale cos if he hadn't dived the first time the ref might have taken the later assault on him more seriously. Not good to see King Kenny get upset as if Bale was milking it when it was clearly a disgraceful hack.

Every world class player has an off day - this was his.

If you're mad cos you didn't win - perhaps your attention would be better aimed at Carroll and Suarez who wasted excellent chances for you?
