It's such a shame that a great game has been overshadowed by SAF's mind games and infatuation with bald refs

It's funny, out of all the people on your board I never expected a bite from you Swarbs <whistle>

But be fair, AVB has a point. I read this morning that Fergie complained about how cold the dressing room was <laugh>

The away ones are, and rightly so! You do anything when playing at home to gain advantage. The art of Mourinhoism <ok>

Don't exaggerate, he has his moments like most. But he'll generally accept defeat albeit through gritted teeth. Sometimes even congratulates the opposition! Don't deflect from the fact that united are ALWAYS discredited. Rarely a game goes by where involving united whereby the team and/or the officials of the game aren't scrutinised.

    It's very pathetic indeed.

<laugh> or maybe the dressing room for the refs was cold too, and that's why Webb likes us best.

By Jose Mourinho - then Porto Manager 2004:

Porto prevailed at Old Trafford to go through. Describing the pandemonium in the dressing room, Mourinho says:

'You would have thought we had won the World Cup. And then there was a knock on the door. It was Alex, with Gary Neville. As they came in, everybody fell silent, respectful. The party stopped. The party was over. And, as Gary Neville went round shaking hands with my players, Alex shook hands with me and said that, after the press conference, I was invited to come to his office for a drink.”

“What a special person it was, I thought, who would do anything to win but, if he lost, still do that. At that moment I made a decision. It was that, if I ever came to England, I would follow this example.”

Such a shame Jose never quite learned to follow SAF in that regard...
