Always thought he would go for it - posted it on the Leeds board just after Larry was sacked - mixed response. I think he is a very astute manager and will do well wherever he is - relative to resources, of course. Interesting development.
I agree, Forest didn't know what they had with him. Now they have an average manager their below average squad has been shown up. I think he's probably the best option for most clubs when they part company with their current manager.
He will take Leeds to the prem this season or next. Their squad will be the best one he's had I think, better than Preston, Derby and Forests. He's taken all of them to the playoff places.
