Actually I wanted to discuss what was going on with the Earthquake and Tsunami as I was suprised that no-one had yet posted an article discussing it, I couldn't resist a dig at the other thread as it had annoyed me. Sorry.
my dad had a chicken once and we used call it bare arse cos it had no feathers on its arse. and one day we tried to see if it could swim so we threw it in a bath full of water annd it drowned. we had a funeral and everthing, so no why did the chicken cross the road jokes please
There's been an earthquake off the coast of Japan. It was followed by a ****ing big wave.Loads of people are dead. What else is there to discuss ?
The subsequent fires, the aftershocks, the potential for further earthquakes, the situation at the Nuclear Power plants, the Tsunami that is still spreading across the Pacific and what sort of implications it it likely to have for other countries, to name a few.
Wait until Gran Canaria collapses into the sea, then we're all ****ed. Especially me in Guernsey, I've thought about this I have.
Well we're lucky that other land masses are in the way and even if they weren't Earthquakes that cause Tsunami's are a very long way away so by the time they reached us they would have lost most if not all of their intensity.
The tsunami didn't even cause damage in Hawaii, and that's with a massive earthquake So I wouldn't be worried about Gran Canaria tsunami causing damage in Channel Islands/Britain
It's not an earthquake, it's half a mountain falling into the sea. They reckon it will hit New York hard never mind Britain.
Underground earthquake and huge landslide would probably have two different effects. We're also a lot closer.
