As I said, you can only beat the team that's in front of you, it's not like they scraped a 1-0 win, they comprehensively demolished an admittedly poor side. Criticise Blackburn all you like, I just don't see how you can really say that today, Arsenal weren't a credit to themselves. P.S. If that "numpty" was aimed at me, I'd ask you to refrain from the personal insults (which you so frequently claim to abhore) when none have been directed at you.
You have to take your hat off to Uncle Percy this season whoever you support.Without him Arsenal would be battling it out with Wigan and Blackburn at the bottom and Wenger would have been on his bike
RVP is a one man rescue mission, imagine we had a striker in form like him instead of the idiots we got atm.
Who would be a manager? Man U 8 Arsenal 2 Man U 2 Blackburn 3 Arsenal 7 Blackburn 1 and QPR get all those players and lose at home to......ouch!
It wasn't. It was a hypothetical "numpty" conjured up for the purposes of my minor rant. I wouldn't want to hurl personal insults around, and certainly not at my fellow Spurs fans.
My apologies, Ammaar. I didn't mean to come across as having a pop at you - I certainly did not intend to. It's a great result for Arsenal, there is no doubt about that. My disappointment, anger even, was directed at Blackburn, who looked completely inept in every department, today. In truth, they gifted you that win, in a way that I haven't seen many wins gifted, this season. But, I am calmer, now.
Wenger still managed to **** up, though. Van Persie had done his job and picked up a minor injury doing so, yet he was still left on the pitch til the end. Why risk losing your most valuable asset in a game that's already over?
I think AW took a calculated risk. Play safe and settle for a paltry 5 or go for double figures and really give the team, club, fans, a much needed boost. Anyway, a nice run of heavy snows could cause a fixture pile up at WHL and if things go bad for Arry, the pressure could well be transferred to your lot
Reality check time; if there is a run of heavy snows then there would be a fixture pile up for every club not just Spurs
Some of us have 21st century stadia that can cope with the snow better than others. It may be that both get frozen off, but I can hope
Because when it snows, it is often the area around the stadium that is impassable. Even if the pitch is playable (and WHL is up with any), the transport/safety issues cause the game to be postponed.
"You're ahead of us once in how many years is it now? And the season ain't over yet buster. Spuds = Small club, small mentality." Have you ever called a Spurs fan a "Spud" on radio phone-in? Or on TV? If not you're a coward.
why are you typing like ******? you come across like the idiot nobody listens to so you have to try extreme measures......try a few suicide notes as articles and we might start realising you exhist
"why are you typing like ******? you come across like the idiot nobody listens to so you have to try extreme measures......try a few suicide notes as articles and we might start realising you exhist" Learn how to spell words like exist first before you trade insults.
I think that some people missed the point of your original post and assumed that the lines in quotes were actually supposed to be insults directed at Spurs, London Man. It might have been a little less confusing if you'd have used the Reply with Quote feature.
Is London Man on our side or against us? I, too, was a little confused by his thread. To me, it looked like he was quoting something someone else had said and was having a pop at them, on our behalf. I didn't read anything nasty in his post.
