Yeah Red, it's strange really. You'd think that the mountains make the race, but it seems as though the time trial is where it's at. When a bloke like Evans can beat the Schleck brothers by a couple of minutes in the TT, it means they have to kill him on the mountains. last year was the first time that Evans actually went on the attack, it was as though he was a different person.

Without wanting to be labelled a cynic I have often thought the real competition in the Tour de France is seeing who can consume the most illegal substances and not get caught.

I see that Vitznau just keeps being backed in his races, despite stinking the gaff out recently (modest improvement LTO). I shall not be backing him today, so you can probably put your shirt on him. cyc- its a shame as i really like the tour but you cant do what they do and not get help... ahem, nudge, nudge... A mate of mine told us last year that he prob had a blood transfusion that was just not clean. He is a triatholon competitor and he says that what they do is unbelievable... That Alp d'luez stage last year was just awesome and compelling at the same time... A great tour but its always tarnished... I doubt if cycling will ever be clean... Shame...
Connections of Vitznau put on twitter that they can't see it beating the Fahey horse and they thought the Baugh horse was a 'plot'. They did say Vitznau would win a 0-50 over 10 furlongs though.
Oddy, the good thing about Berlin is that it's adry cold unlike this bloody country mate. Spurs to beat Liverpool 3-1 or 3-2 Baby Run would not have beaten Zemsky, another banker but wont be 50s again unlike last year, yeee haaaaa
